Honestly, kinda disappointed how Bowa's "fear" didn't manifest in anything other than just more physical strength.... sigh
Like, the fight was visually impressive and I liked the emotion behind it but it dulled out to me when it devolved to pretty slashes and collateral damage.
Bowa has the right background and motivation to have a corruption arc even if it's fixed at the end, honestly they kinda fumbled her as a rival to Queen.

now that we have some sort of idea of what "Fear" might be, it doesn't seem to be fear in that sense but maybe in my opinion it's a consuming emotion.
See Luo, for example, was feared for his bad luck and even rumors about it spread to other orphanages but we never saw it mutate to anything other than misfortune to him (which might be a side effect of the trust system as it is established to be "what other believe of you and what you're capable of" or "wish for you" in LC's case)
it's only after the dean tell him about his parents' death does it show signs of mutation (for lack of a better term) and it is canonically the first appearance of "Fear" in an uncontrolled form. it might be the first in a wide scale, mind you, we are not sure when was the very first occurrence of "Fear".
We can see that Luo started resenting Cyan for what happened and believed the fact that his misfortune was tied to her luck. so he was clearly consumed by either hatred or grief and only after their misunderstanding was cleared, "Fear" disappeared.
(i'm not sure how it zombified the orphanage staff and children but there was a clear resentment towards Cyan in specific so Luo's resentment might've amplified everyone else's and led them to lose sanity esp in the dean's case going full "fear" corruption)
