to everyone out there...

to everyone out there who’s ever had to deal with abuse or has been surviving in an abusive household, your pain is justified. to those girls and boys who can’t claim their abusers as abuse because they’ve never been physical with you, but they have degraded you with their insensitive, cruel words and have made you cry a myriad of tears, your pain is valid. your tears are valid, your feelings are valid, and it is definitely not because of something stupid, or because you are very delicate. it will never be your fault, no matter what the reason or cause might be. hold on for a little while longer, okay? you’re not alone. you are strong and beautiful and you matter.
