“hm. what’s really interesting to me is how you started that theory with in my experience,” he half-chuckled, though he had to admit it was possible. he himself was familiar with the feeling of something being so cute you just wanted to squeeze it til it’s eyes popped out. or at least he hoped that was a thing other people felt. “i doubt an old lady feels that strongly about me though, so i’m betting on the latter. it’s wild how many people i help out who can’t even figure out that flipping a switch would completely solve their problem.”

he scrunched his nose at the nickname, a slight smirk on his face. he seemed to get new ones every day---not that it bothered him in the slightest. it was always interesting to see how creative people could get. “is it?” he tilted his head, not exactly sure what to make of the old woman in question. “i’ve never had an encounter with a cougar before... what if i played into it, huh? y’think she’d take care of my finances and shit?” he mused, only really half-joking.

nolee shot him a weird look. “wait—you mean to tell me you’re a handyman? how do you fit under a sink?” she tried to imagine the scene in her head but it seemed like something out of a cheesy porno. “how old is she even? does she have a husband?” surely he’d know if she had a husband after his fourth time there, she thought.

he half-snorted at her initial question, admittedly caught off-guard by the assumption that he was too big to fit under a sink. “it can be a little bit of a puzzle in tiny bathrooms, i’ll admit. but uh, nah, she’s all on her own. gotta be pushing 60 maybe? i can’t imagine anyone would wanna live with her though---she’s got like six screaming cockatiels. those things’d drive anyone nuts.”

“y’know, after getting called for the fourth time in a month to fix the same problem with some lady’s bathroom sink, i’m really starting to wonder if she’s breaking it on purpose,” he ranted, brows furrowed as he took a quick sip from his iced coffee. way, way too sweet. “she could just really like my company... or... hear me out---she could be making observations and plotting my demise. i mean, either way i’m getting paid for the work so... i think i’m still gonna go.”

helloooo ! i’m mia, i’m 23, and i'm a gay cryptid. i like videogames and staying up way later than i should it’s honestly ridiculous at this point. but moving on ! lemme introduce u to my son, who i’m still kinda figuring out, but u know, he’s a work in progress :)

he's twenty-one and from new mexico

if you’re curious about his name, his mom was a bit of a hippie-type

( his little sister was named autumn lol )

when he was nine, his parents split and it was kinda ugly

so his mom took his little sister and moved to arizona

and he was left to deal with his asshole dad for most of his life

his dad---being a carpenter and very much about a macho, hypermasculine image---made sure to teach cloud how to follow in his footsteps and know how to fix shit up !

he was hard on him, but not unbearable to the point that cloud couldn’t handle it. visiting his mom and sister on holidays or hanging out with his friends were always the highlights of his childhood

but his father eventually made cloud join the military fresh out of high school, because he wanted the boy to learn a thing or two about discipline

( they also didn’t have money for him to attend any other type of university )

he hated every single second of it right from the start of training to rotc

eventually, before he could start sophomore year of rotc, cloud decided he was fed up of the lifestyle, and just tired of taking orders from people who reminded him of his dad his whole life. he ended up quitting before he got in too deep

being too afraid to tell his dad about this, he took off to arizona to find his mom instead of going home, which is what brought him to tallow

since then, he’s rented a small place to himself and goes to college, while offering up basic handyman services to anyone who needs the help that way he can pay for school and his apartment

into anime, would probably have cosplayed in the past if it weren’t for his dad lmao

despite being forced into it, he really does like working with his hands and crafting shit and keeping busy. he doesn’t regret being taught those skills

an early morning person---he actually likes waking up for runs and making breakfast and all that good healthy stuff fwfdfjs

doesn’t really know what he’s doing with his life, but he’s trying to figure it out

oh and he’s got a couple pet hamsters bc he’s always wanted to have them but his dad never let him, so he was like hey, don’t let ur dreams be memes
