A Letter To My Sisters In Infertility On Mother's Day

To My Fellow Sisters In Infertility:

I see you sitting there fighting back tears at church on Mother’s Day while it seems like every other woman in the room stands to be recognized for her innate ability to conceive and bear living children. I see you hiding from Facebook on that dreaded Sunday; hiding from the world with your curtains closed just wishing the day would be over. I see you crying out in pain and anguish under your mask of anonymity on social media. I see you. I am you. And I want you to know you are worth more than your inability to make babies. You are worth more than this sorrow and grief. There is more to us than this deep canyon of longing that is infertility. You are a beloved of the most high king, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend, a confidant, an encourager, a mentor.

I have been trying to conceive just about 2 years it has been a struggle. I finally got my BFP April 23 I don’t want to discourage anyone but I really want to encourage people to not give up metformin and clomid is what worked for me and I know it won’t work for everyone but if you are on either try both together I heard metformin is a miracle worker and I am a witness. But next to Gods amazing grace nothing can compare to his perfect timing. My husband and I are over joyed! Ladies don’t lose your faith God will never leave you .
