2 min poses, got some beautiful interesting gestures in this.

This looks like I roughed out the pose then redid it? I wrote down 10 mins for both pages so who knows?

15 min pose, apparently I also was dissatisfied with this one then redid it nicer.

This model was great and also a badass, doing handstand poses and such! I really like this session’s results and inks, so many shadows!

Just some pen and inks I did for Inktober 2019.

The fly is 8x10 and the beetle is 16x20. Some progress shots and details, so you can see some of the pearlescent ink shine. I don’t have any WIPs for the fly :<

This model was beautiful and inspiring, she had a lot of ‘classical” style poses I’d describe it as. Warming up with 10x 2 minute poses!

Getting more detailed with some 5 min poses.

Some 5 minute portraits; one of my weaknesses is faces so I tried to get some practice in.

Got a couple of 10s here.

And then our final 20 min poses! Love these inked ones!

Long time no post, I haven’t been in the right headspace to post sketches. BUT I have been attending my classes on the semi-regular as my schedule permits. This is an old fall session, obviously now I have PLENTY of quarantine time to catch up on these uploads.

We're all a little bit mindless on the subway with our faces buried in our smartphones. I lined this one with my pitt ink pens post-trip, not a horrible effect but I prefer the spontaneity of the pencil sketch .

Some inktober samples! “Ring”

I already posted this to my other account, but here it is to keep things updated. I haven’t been active online as of late, but I’ve been doing art quietly in the background. I’ll get around to posting it all, I’ve just been busy with work and stuff! This is inktober 1: Ring. Originally I wanted to make some coffee ring art, but that didn’t work out as well as I planned so I decided to experiment and see how the wet ink interacts with water and moves on the paper. Better non-trashy posts to come!

This guy had some VERY ambitious poses and facial expressions, and was able to hold almost all of them. He said he liked telling stories in his poses. Awesome.

This was approx. a 15 min pose, was meant to be a 30 (that’s why I didn’t get to shade it sadly) but his legs started falling asleep. Whoops.

Haven’t had a chance to post this! I started my spring semester of life drawing and broke in my new bigass 11x14 sketchbook! Some proportion errors but it’s alright, practice makes perfect. Some 2 min warmups to start.

SO I guess I’m up to #16! I’m determined to get at least one Pokemon drawing challenge done, it’s just not a pokedecember anymore LOL. Anyway, this is the fav psychic type prompt. This might be the most detailed cell-shaded style piece I’ve done so far and I’m pretty pleased!
