Sometimes we can get in our own way by our negative thoughts, poor attitude, victim mentality, mistake after mistake, poor judgment, bad choices, feeling as if God doesn't love us, doesn't hear us pray or has left us. I got in my own way some years back and found myself in a dark place of depression, sadness and overall misery. I felt useless, couldn't pray. Knowing the word of God was not enough to bring me out of the dark place I found myself in because I was too busy being a victim, wallowing in self pity, not taking responsibility for my own actions, thoughts or deeds. But God waited lovingly and patiently for me to seek Him for the deliverance I so desperately needed from my own self. I began to realize HIS love doesn't depend on my good days and bad days but that it was continuous because HE is a loving God and it is not HE who abandons us but us that abandon HIM. At some point I began to get out of my own way with God's help through God's of encouragement, love and compassion toward me.........that is when I came to create Inspiration, Encouragement, Through Words and Music. The page is approaching 10,000 followers and I am thankful.I hope that someone benefits daily by its offerings.
