I may sound dramatic to you but… I'm terrified for this world.. I know that it's scary right now and it's easy to get lost in your phone. The doom scroll claims us all at one point or another. Please, I'm begging you as a human go another human, please look up. Look at the news. Regardless of your political beliefs, I genuinely don't care anymore. We are going to war. World War 3 has begun... This is not good and no amount of "I am sorry this man will be held accountable" will change that. This has started.. and I hope that you are able to come to terms that many many innocent lives will be lost as the fall of the world as we know it will begin. Whatever your beliefs, your opinions, your choices, your dreams, your hatred, your anger, your pain, please put it aside. I know that is A LOT to ask of anyone, let alone a stranger online that you most likely will ignore or remove, which you have every right to. War has never brought anything but loss, no matter the gains in the end. No matter the gains, we will now be infamous. The United States will not be famous like we were before. We were respected, looked up to, a pioneer and defender of the little guy. We lost that long ago and now, we will never get that back. The world will now treat us as the new Germany. If we are subdued after all this, we will be crippled just as Germany after Hitler. No military over a certain amount, economic powers stripped, the powerhouse of this country is no more. Please, try and be kind to your fellow human now because we are all that we have to reach out to for support. Community.. Hold onto your loved ones. Still try and live out whatever life you can/want to. Find joy in the little moments. Even Ellie and Joel found moments to joke and laugh, we must too because if we don't, we will crumble.
