Season 5: (no time to react before he's back) Are you literal god??

Season 7(first time) denial, then cursing cas out for his choices (ie, choosing crowley instead of dean... Big Feelings on display)

Season 7 (about 3 seconds after the first time in season 7): I'm going to be upset about this the rest of the year, have full on nightmare ptsd from it, and project it onto every relationship and interaction in my life from now on.

Season 8: I will be so traumatized by this that the memories won't even form properly and I won't even be able to SPEAK ABOUT IT AT ALL. Period.

Season 9: only about 6 seconds before he's back, but still a significant amount of wailing his name.

Season 12: depression, rage, eventual suicide

Season 15: Sobbing hysterically. Not even caring that Sam is calling because everyone is dead. Not giving a fuck about any other actual thing in the rest of the world no matter the stakes. Followed by:

'Castiel wants me to live, and I suppose I've internalized the message that I am not a terrible, unworthy person, so I will live and not kill myself so that his sacrifice means something. J/k thank god a fucking rebar. Don't call an ambulance. Don't bring me back. Please let me die.'

thinking about the time castiel became god and decided one of the first orders of business was to kill homophobic religious leaders... that was essentially his coming out scene to me

That man worked for it! He sat down on that bed so gaily that they had to call the execs about it and he still didn't budge! He decided to make Cas' voice extra low so he wouldn't hurt Dean's ears. He acted like a jilted lover when Cas became human. And when everyone was calling the fans delusional, he came thru with "you are not crazy" tweet because he knew, he'd been doing it on purpose.

My man laid the groundwork! He deserves to say Cas is gay & be annoying about it! Get on his level or keep your mouth shut.

as a first time supernatural watcher, it is so utterly surreal to witness the angel whom dean has domesticated to the point where he has him doing a cowboy accent from his silly movie. while wearing a silly hat. destiel is real guys.

what truly amazes me about this little moment, and by that i mean it makes me want to shovel glass into my eyes and mouth, is how dean almost casually drops the first ever ‘you’re family’ line to cas in order to get him to listen to him and then continues talking like he didn’t just say the most earth shattering sentence cas has ever heard in his millions of years long life, like he didn’t just sign cas’ heart and life over to himself by telling him he belongs with them
