Vulgar shadows spew venomous curses through rotting teeth, condemning brilliant angels cut from glossy magazines and unobtainable starlight.  That which is born in darkness can never touch light lest it be set ablaze. A crimson spark turned forest fire. A shallow creek turned tsunami. A shaking rhythm turned earthquake. Tough born of sinless skies, wax angels long to bathe in disaster, melting with the grace of setting sun, dying with the joy of ignorant children. Infinite timelines open to make way for the autumn equinox. It seethes like a glorious unbecoming of equal jealous rage, undress the veil of systematic genocide and dry our oceans born of needless grieving.  Harass the monarchical bloodline until anarchy becomes tradition, until undignified becomes holy,  and let faithless sing  hallelujah...

For safety.
The pavement vibrates beneath my feet by as the bodies fall and no one else bats an eye.
I try to contain myself here in this cardboard box, beneath a cloak of invisibility fashioned from old memories and stitched together with the same thread I used to sew my lips shut the day i became a threat, the day they came for us, to keep from begging forgiveness for a safety long gone.
I don’t want to watch but you force my eyes open- we both need to know how far gone we are and what’s still at stake.
For now, we remain in secret, making our way through this cover of darkness and as blood fills our mouths, staining our teeth, we will snarl in reply.

Honey your secrets taste like sugar; Let me drink them like aged wine, Like Waterfalls made of liquid gold. Let me hold you like a child holds a broken vase, clenching at glass, too worried about the consequences to pay attention to bleeding fingers. Sugar you ain't never been loved like this before. Never been kissed like your mouth is my own personal god and I know that scares you Cause it scares me too. Like standing too close to a bonfire hoping maybe you'll go up in flames. Darlin’ this love this is uncharted territory: The Bermuda triangle of stolen glances and too soft touches. How many more times do we have to drown before we find each other at the bottom of the ocean, Like gold pieces? We could sell this love for cheap whiskey and sweet dreams. Baby, don't hold my hand like that. Don't kiss me like that. Don't you dare tell me you love me, cause sweetheart your love sounds like promises you can't keep. I can't breathe because your tongue is too far down my throat and your hands too far up my thigh and your fingers too close to my heart. I can't gasp for air because honey, your love tastes like sweet tea and I am begging you to    let        me             drown...

smoke tastes like wine on the tip of her tongue like lost words and unspoken rules. How dare the bittersweet promise of malicious matrimony cloud the judgement of she who seeks freedom in overflowing porcelain! Clawed nails and dull eyes she seeks love from those who have forgotten her name, a slave title sold in secret so they may never know her origin. Shark tooth lined roped makes death so much quicker, less delicate, but more sincere. We are trapped between minor words on dying trees, carving our initials into wood so it may rot with our bodies. Tiptoe through dark whispers that smell like sunshine and limoncello; Sour gold puts me to sleep on a bed I share with a stranger. There are demons in my blood that spread like cancer, longing seeps through my skin and I am gasping through drowning lungs for a love I cannot find. Breathe. One more step will send you grasping at the end of the universe. Ever-expanding, you will land in a dream where happiness is sold at a price, where hatred is a gift, where sorrow is a mere memory. Breathe as if your life depends on it, as if you've been drowning for centuries and god, it feels so good to drink in fresh air How miraculous is relief! (Until you are choking on your own name). There are always those who would have your head for dinner, drink your sunset lips out of your hollow heart. Beware of he who makes you glimmer for he will steal your starlit eyes and give back black ash as a gift. He who claims to love you will only take what you have to offer until your skin cracks and your chest pours out song that                                    your mother                                                     never                                                             understood..

Harmonic seas breathe deep into my apology, I ask my crimson lover to climb deep through the window leading to my animalistic soul. They speak of ambitious liberation. I find peace in broken tea cups and blooming gardens of herbs. My melodic medicine sings me to sleep as I dream of ashes falling on sleepy cities. Reflections of lighting bugs on waving rivers lure me to my birthplace made of bleeding watercolors, that psychedelic longing for peace and love, but my heart is revolution. It is fire and blood. I have found that storms do not sleep.  Start a war with titanium ropes and drag my soul deep into the sea, I ask for simplicity but I am forever changing. A walking contradiction of rose petals and chrysanthemum, brew my shedding tears into sweet coffee to drink on frosty winter nights. We will stay and watch the sunrise, kiss and watch the sun set and my body will implode like dying starlight, and like a burned out sun I will collapse and fall

Sweet earth-born child grown of oak and daffodils, a beggar amongst the cunning sway of society. May you grow as a force, a vixen of sweet sex and hormonal hooligans, it is no secret that rainfall whispers in your fingertips. Draw sigils of peace and protection in watered-down sand, build castles of promises and lead your fateful disciples into cotton skies, delectable deserts of open caskets. Never allow their bleakness to silence your sensitive screaming; Young noise maker, protest against dying stars! Implode and explode as a birthing sun might, may your brutality stand as a reminder of rebirth. Post-it note princess leave your sickeningly sweet sonnets wherever your tired soles may dare to dig. Dirt stained child of incense and bangles, dance your way into decadence and decay. Your tongue tastes of vanilla cupcakes laced with cyanide, a perfect impostor of sin dressed in golden halos, your natural aroma of grapefruit and sunshine is a hymn few dare to whimper. May you massacre materialism and bring forth the glowing moon for she is breathing in the sour smoke of corruption and you, my dear, are fresh wind in the spring.
