Peter nods. He probably understands, at least a bit, what the other can mean. “I wonder if something like this will happen in my world, too, eventually.” He hopes not, of course. He’s the only superhero there, unless the others hide very well. Or maybe they’re just not in New York, or not in the USA at all. He tried to find information before, though, and found nothing. “Maybe it’s a Peter Parker thing, to not be sure.” He admits, letting a SOFT chuckle escape his lips. 

“I wonder if an event like that is .. specific to here or if it happens in other realities in a different way? I mean, you know.. maybe that’s when others in your universe will like .. maybe be known as superheroes?” he speaks, although half of it sounds more like asking questions and answering himself. “It could definitely be a Peter Parker thing.”

“I keep saying it because it is true, not that I expect you to believe me.” 

She began to think leaving was the best option. It was not that she could not handle herself if it came to a fight, but it was something that she wanted to avoid. Although Melina was about to interject and answer him, he answered again with her inquiry about leaving. 

“I still want to talk to Yelena I just did not anticipate her having company. It was not my intention to bother you. I will wait for her outside.”

“You know that I can basically hear you think from down here, Mama.” Natasha grinned at her through gritted teeth, slowly letting out a breath, glad the medicine started to numb her leg and cloud her senses. On other occaisons Natasha would have refused, apprehensive of any substances that would impare on her agency, but with Melina she would be safe.

“How’s the idiot Alexei doing?” She asked, still not ready to call him Dad again after he had abandoned and left herself and Yelena to the red room as  children. Something the redhead wouldn’t be able to forgive, possibly ever. “Don’t look like this stuff could kill me. We both know I’m not that easy to get rid off.”

“Oh, I am very sure that you can,” Melina laughed lightly, her eyes then turning to survey the continuing extent of her wounds. Her view went from the wounds back to her features themselves to gather the extent of the pain she was feeling. 

She did not immediately respond, instead continuing on in her various efforts but she did offer a smile to her. “He is as alright as one can be, still himself, as you probably expect.” “No no, it certainly will not kill you. Cause you pain, yes. Kill you? Hardly.”

“You always know when I’m around.” Natasha spoke, her body seperating from the shadow surrounding the door. She was a sight to behold. “I might need some help.” Her voice strained. There was blood on her palms. Mostly not hers, but there was a hole torn into her side, the teflar vest and underarmor shirt torn open. “Mama Melina.” Natasha smiled, heavily falling forward as her legs failed her.@intothemanaverse

“He’s too dumb to listen when I tell him that.” Bucky admits with a sigh. Well, Sam isn’t truly that bad, but Bucky is mad at him for giving Steve’s shield away. Steve chose him as the new Captain America. He should have taken it without hesitation. And now, they��re just trapped in this mess.

He shakes his head just a bit. “I only wanted to know if you’ve seen them, because they’re bad guys, as you may already know. They kill innocent people. You’d be useful against them, though.” He’s only half-teasing. 

“Well, I suppose that It is always worth a shot to mention,” Yelena shrugs on the discussion of Sam’s listening skills. Her hand remains taut on the rope, continuing to listen to what he has to say. “I have heard about them since I have been here, but --” With that, she pauses, taking a step back over the ledge to appear more casual. 

“Have not had the ... pleasure of interacting with any of them. And while that may be so, that is not the reason I am here. I have more .. pressing matters to attend to.”
