Is starting your mods folder over worth it?

I bought a new PC about a month ago and didn't download TS4 on it until yesterday but my old computer is so slow I almost can't get my old mods folder off of it to move it to my new PC. I might not be able to (like in a reasonable amount of time) but I haven't restarted my mods folder completely in like yearssss and TBH, I am a little worried about doing so T-T

Been away per usual

My sister and I are booked for another anime/fandom convention this March which is super exciting!! We're almost Star Seller on Etsy so fingers crossed we can get there by the con but I am working on making more items and making prints in my style so I am making these little anime-inspired mini posters and these are just some of the WIPs I have! I know I am not active, but I don't think I'll ever stop sharing my creative endeavors here! xo <3

Your answer was truly so sweet and heartfelt Aj, thanks sm for that it rlly made me feel better and less alone, since I've also felt like I've neglected my Simblr but that's also due to more personal reasons like being too drained for it etc. I do like to write and draw and have been planning on getting back into the sims, so again, your message helped a lot :) <3

Of course! I am happy I can help! And I know how you feel, I haven't been really active in a long time and I don't know if I'll ever be back for good. I think I'll always just come and go now and then, I think that's okay and kind of normal? I think it's been good for me personally to step away. Really!? I really appreciate that! I've been taking more creative writing classes and exploring writing again (that's not journalistic writing). I've been thinking about writing out Brutally Soft in some form. Maybe short stories? I'll probably share them here if I do if anyone wants to read them!

Its kinda sad but ive stopped caring abt the sims since i have new hobbies and have let that one go.. I havent cared to open the game in so long now.. :/ which is sad cause then my story and OCs have also been left in the dark idk

I think about this all the time, I bought myself a new PC and haven't reinstalled TS4 yet. Sometimes I have the urge to open it and play around with Nes or Amelia, but usually, I just move on to do something else. There have been a handful of times where I come back, and post a bunch, but I eventually disappear again. Much like you, my focus just isn't, and hasn't been, making content for Simblr. I still think about my characters all the time, and if you're characters mean a lot to you I am sure you can take them with you to your other endeavors for example if you draw or maybe if you wanted to write them into a novel, etc. They haven't been left in the dark, you're growing, evolving, changing, and when you revisit them they'll be better because of it. Our OCs are always with us and symbolize little (big) parts of ourselves so I think they are always a part of us. <3
