The giving tree 🌳 has been one of my favorite books for a long time, it’s dramatically different than what it was to me when I was a kid. It went from the biggest gesture of love and devotion to questionable actions and abuse. Its open to interpretation and has made me both happy and sad. It’s just a children’s book or is it? Do you remember the giving tree?

Such a good question and I’m happy I caught this photo the last time I saw Morrissey.

I think about it time to time because Fear always rears it’s ugly head and comes back to bite me but I welcome it now.

I know that if I’m not at least a little scared then I’m not pushing myself hard enough, I’m not moving fast enough, I’m not venturing into the unknown that originally excited me and I promised I would conquer.

So I ask you this

Entry one... ✍️

I had no idea what I was doing, where I was going or what I wanted to do when I started "this". 

Whatever "this" is, one thing for sure is that it is still very much in the process of development, growing, maturing, making mistakes and giving me a headache. 

I was unhappy (I'm always unhappy), I was lost (I'm still lost), I was getting to "the end of my life"

... I miss being 29 again where my biggest fear was 30.  

I can honestly say my Thirties have been the best years for my life, I have grown, loved, won, lost... learned more about myself and people in general. I've learned how they work and what makes them tick, how to make them fall in love and how you're supposed to keep from falling apart.  

I've literally travelled the world searching for answers. 

How do I become a man? When do I become a man? What does that even mean?

I've uncovered personality type and learned about adaptation, shadows and manipulation.

The more you know, do you really know? 

The more you learn the more confused, the more ambitious the more I question, the more I come alive.
