“Y’know it ain’t fair if you’ve heard them all.” Rita narrowed her eyes in confusion... he wanted hysterics? Mista Steel always said to keep calm in theses situations and above all ‘don’t open your mouth.’ Well that one was out the window already...
“Well, I mean if you want I can start cryin’ and screamin’” Rita shrugged, what she wanted was for the boss to hurry up and get here so he and Glass can kiss and make up. Rita needed something new to talk to Franny about.

You remember when I got my finger caught in the door and I had to go that whole week with a broken thumb?" Rita waggled her fingers as if that would help make her point. "Well, I had to learn how to do everything all over again you know. An' it ain't all bad either now I can do all sorts of things without usin' my thumbs and my other fingers are much stronger now."

Franny once dropped a brick on my head when we were arguin’ one time and we had to rush to the hospital on account of the blood, but it turned out to just be a scratch. The doctors said I was lucky, apparently my skull’s thicker than most peoples. Mista Steel said he coulda told me that free of charge but he’s just jealous because the last time he was hit in the head with a brick it practically put him in a coma for three whole days.”
