Bahareh Afshari as Fereshteh (”Angel”) in the 2005 Iranian Drama: It was an Angel (Ou Yek Fereshteh Bood) 

I watched this Drama when I was young and it really intrigued me. The story line presented within the Drama was first of its kind within Iranian TV Series/Dramas. Because of this it was slightly controversial in a sense that it got a lot of people talking about it. In someways I think it was one of the Dramas which created a turning point in Iranian TV Series as it broke down some issues which were never really portrayed in Iranian Dramas before that.

( ۱۳۸۵) فیلم سینمایی بلند گریه کن 2005 Iranian TV Movie: Cry Out Loud (Boland Gerye Kon)   This is an Iranian TV Movie I first watched on TV when I was really young. 

Its story line had an impact on me which made it a difficult film to forget about.  

It stars Negar Forozandeh as Marjan and  Ladan Tabatabaei as Tal’at.

I watched this a very long time ago but the drama stuck to me mainly due to the music used in it's opening sequence. It was so creepy and mysterious that I liked it a lot

It fit the genre and mood of the drama perfectly

A Separation - If you haven’t seen it, watch it. I love how Farhadi treats his audience as an equal, will make you think about what’s right or wrong on your own.
