That's what I kept trying to tell my doctor, but apparently it's better to be safe than sorry. A quote, which has come to annoy me these last couple of days. You're stuttering, Lily. You never stutter. What's wrong? Well let's see, I have a mountain of paper work to fill, insurance claims that I have to deal with, and people who claim to have been on our property during the quake just so they can get insurance money out of us. So annoyed and tired sum it up for the most part.

Why on earth would I want to do that?” he asked, of course not being entirely serious, frankly he now saw the logic in not having relationships. “No, we’re paid to be argumentative and win the case. If you knew my track record, you’d know I was good at it” well he was, but then work was one of the few things he did. “Don’t. Don’t ruin my good mood by bringing her up” he replied quickly, not really wanting to go into that subject this early. “And for that I am very grateful”. 

"What you call boring, I call self-sufficient. Women are nothing but trouble long term wise. But you go ahead and continue on your search for love. I'll sit back and attempt not to laugh because that's what friends do." Although Isaac was mostly joking, there was still a truth behind his words but it wasn't just women that were trouble in his eyes. Any connection that extended beyond his work and family came as a risk to him and like all risks, he tried to avoid that. "All the more reason to use you as my lawyer if I ever get it trouble for anything, which will be never since we both know I'm the definition of an angel." He managed to get out just as the barista approached with their drink order. Other than flashing the woman a grateful smile he attention didn't waver much from his friend forming a quick frown at his objection. "Right, sorry. Sore subject."

As tempting as the tearing it to shreds idea seems, I'm sure it'd be counter productive seeing as they'd just put me into another one. Here's to hoping it's the healing quick one. My annoying injuries aside, how are you?

I'll tell you the same thing I tell all the other preteen girls who attempt to hit on me, the ride has an age limit. Sadly, twelve and three quarters isn't that age so you're better off just getting me my coffee. If you stand here any longer it might lead to your embarrassment and I'd rather not scar a child for life.

Well next time, at least make the threat actually, I don't know, threatens me? Nothing major, just almost fell off the side of the building and had to use my dislocated shoulder to pull myself up and probably wasn't my smartest idea. I'm glad that mythical tale of me being invincible caught on though, shame now everyone going to figure out I'm just a mere mortal who can get hurt just like the rest. Life's not all about having fun, kiddo.

It wasn't that Isaac wasn't aware that optimistic people existed, obviously they did. It just never siezed to baffle him each time he encountered one. Never quite knowing if the happy puppy persona was an act he could make fun of or the real deal. Giving the young boy an incredulous look Isaac shrugged his shoulders. "Believe it or not, this is me making the best out of it."

Luckily, I never had a broken leg, or anything else, while in high school. But it’s definitely a hassle to have now. Though I suppose it could be a hassle to have broken arm also, especially if it’s your writing hand.

Then you clearly mustn't have been on any of the sports teams. I at least had one major injury every year if not more, but that could also be because I'm not really the luckiest man on earth. It's actually not my writing hand, I imagine I'd be even more annoyed by it being broken if it was.

God doesn’t like his name being used in vain, and that was definitely extremely vain of you. My college roommate was the best god damn roommate, I guess you come in second though. I never knew not agreeing with you made me seem dumb, thanks for letting me know. You’re going to have to eventually leave and when you do I’m throwing a party. With enough money anyone has magic tricks to make people disappear, but that's not my style don't worry. I'm so glad that you understand my struggle and aren't getting my sarcasm at all. Really, you're a remarkable human being, god bless you for being alive. Just because you're blind doesn't mean you can't do all those things, maybe you don't know it because you're new to the whole blind thing but can't is a word most people with disablilties hate to hear let alone say. What does my face being plastered everywhere have to do with my innocence? The angel Gabriel is known throughout the world but that doesn't make him any less of an angel now does it? Also to answer your question, no I haven't. I tend to avoid my own face when I can, it's for everyone else pleasure and don't act like you don't love having me around every corner. It's what your wet dreams are made of. Are you sure that's what I want, or is that just what you want me to want?
