For years, my basement was just a forgotten part of the house. It was cold, dark, and mainly used for storing things I didn’t need but wasn’t ready to throw away. It’s added more room, increased the value of my property, and, most importantly, made my home feel bigger without needing an extension.

At first, I wasn’t sure what to do with the space. My house wasn’t small, but I had always wanted an extra room where guests could stay comfortably or even just a quiet retreat for myself.
