It saddened me to the core, watching Buknoy Glamur spontaneous remarks about tricycle driver who happened to be passing as he was vlogging. And being tricycle driver is a decent job, and Buknoy Glamur stereotyping and generalizing the term he said "walang nararating" and it offended everyone specially tricycle drivers. #notostereotyping #notoarrogance #respectjobs

This common Filipino value will always be an important part of the Filipino culture. Young ones are always expected to show a sign of respect through “pagmamano” (gesture), especially when visiting the elderly. This sign of respect is taught to kids which means that they accept the blessing from the elders. Aside from that, the use of words “po” and “opo” at an end of the sentence indicates that you respect the person you are talking to. With these common Filipino values, you can now see a glimpse of the part of the Filipinos’ way of life. As you stay longer in the country, you will learn more of these values and adapt to it as you immerse with the culture.

COVID 19

Our country is now facing this pandemic, The outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has created a global health crisis that has had a deep impact on the way we perceive our world and our everyday lives. Not only the rate of contagion and patterns of transmission threatens our sense of agency, but the safety measures put in place to contain the spread of the virus also require social distancing by refraining from doing what is inherently human, which is to find solace in the company of others. Within this context of physical threat, social and physical distancing, as well as public alarm.
