You know, with manhwa adaptations I very much love it. But the one thing I dislike adaptations is how sometimes they change a genre. Like for example, actually I was the real one. I love the novel version of it as it's interesting to see the main female character not ending up with any love interests and just self love herself. But nooo we can't have that because in the manhwa version, she's gonna end up with erez of all people. No offense erez x Keira fans,I'm okay with the ship but with the manhwa it sometimes changes things from the novel that are unnecessary for the romance thing to happen. Not to mention, how the artist made erez a magician who is actually a demon be the main male lead for her. Why can't it be with Joseph because erez may change back time because his love for Keira, but compare to Joseph,he literally sacrifices his love for her and make sure he is protected. I prefer the novel version though and for the manhwa I'm sorry to say but the antagonist Cosette slay so much in the manhwa. What are your thoughts of this actually?
So sorry for the late reply! I’ve been overwhelmed with stuff lately but let me read this story and I promise that I’ll get back to you with some replies!

What is your opinion about men of the harem?
I've actually never read it
((Harem stories aren't my thing tbh- and this one doesn't look very interesting)).

I’ll admit that @the-reincarnated-princess does bring up some good points that I missed when initially answered this.
I definitely get the frustration. It’s exceptionally toxic to do to artist/creators who are looking for genuine feedback on their creations only to hear the ten thousandth TRASTHA TRASHTA when a female character does so much as breathe towards the fl’s direction.
I think it honestly says quite a bit about the audience and media in their treatment towards female characters. I’m not saying male characters don’t get it and that it’s not disrespectful when they get it as well but to me personally it feels like they usually have to do a bit more to get to that level of hate that most female characters get at character introductions- literally look at how people treated jennette- you’d think she had a higher kill count than Claude!
I Also think it robs the story of the complexity that it tries to give its fl characters as well- like some female villainesses act like that out of desperation/hurt and really should get more empathy from the audience- not excuses but at least seeing that they’re not flat characters you know?
But I digress….
Ive actually never heard of people using it to call other manhwa a rip off- I don’t doubt that’s happened before but that sounds wildly disrespectful especially because I don’t think remarried empress owns the trope or character archetype or even the character look.
I think there’s a difference between disliking a character and joking around about vs taking it too far. TRASHTA stuff definitely falls in the latter rather than the former
I want to be honest, the trashta term pisses me off somehow. because everytime I read a new story, whenever there is a second female love interest or a love rival shows up,there is gonna have people saying on,another trahsta. Honestly,I'm sick of that term and it's getting annoying.
Amen to that! It drops my IQ by 5 points every time I see it too. Unfortunately it’s very common
Notice how no one ever gives scummy 2nd mls the same energy- hmm I wonder why

Im actually glad you said this because I don’t want people to mistake my posts for defending Sovidiot and Rashta. I’m not. I heavily agree with your first sentence.
HOWEVER I think the quality of this story is highly debatable. Honestly? I feel like there’s sssooo much wasted potential both in Navier, Heinrey, and the potential for political intrigue (but that’s just my opinion).
I’ve pretty much written on it before but it poorly handled heavy themes like slavery and trauma. To me It doesn’t ever really feel like the story respectfully handled Navier’s opponents traumas. ((It also doesn’t help that the story has an air of classism to it as well so making a former slave of all people one of the bad guys was definitely a choice!)).
Personally, I do also think it’s pretty lame that as a woman of power in a magical world Navier just so happens to have more female opponents than say literally anything else. ((Also side note in my opinion: No one else save for Navier, and a handful of the rest of the royals really feel fleshed out or meaningful.)) It’s not a problem that’s unique to this manhwa but idk it’s just hard to overlook here for me personally.
Tiny side note/disclaimer: Im not saying you can’t have bad guys from traumatic places or you can’t have female villains- but what I ask for is just treating them with a little bit more respect when they involve heavy topics.
so,I found some spoilers about remarried empress andLets say, your gonna hate heinrey for a moment after reading this:Whenever I see someone point out how evil Heinrey or Duke Ergi are, I feel a boost of serotonin. Because, they are terrible people. But because Heinrey is the ML, we're just supposed to ignore he was literally planning on starting a war for no reason with the Eastern Empire, and even before that, he was draining the magic from kids (who are *orphans* and their only way to rise up in life/social status is their magic - even besides that, taking away their magic is like taking away a limb, it's a part of themselves)? No way. And no, other mahnwhas/webtoons doing this (i.e. excusing the ML's terrible actions) doesn't make it an acceptable trope. And the author dropped the ball so hard on Kaufman, I swear.
((I barely remember Kaufman tbh. Most of the characters personality in this story can be summed down to this ‘I’m a good guy and Navier is a goddess. I’m a bad guy, pls ignore my blatant trauma as I’m not apart of the church of Navier.))
This story really gets wonkier the more you think about it. Heinrey has done some terrible things but then the story tries to pass him off as a “OWO OWO CINNAMON ROLL BC HE’D DO ANYTHING FOR QUEEN GODDESS JEDI LEADWR NAVIER!!679!! 🥹 ISNT HE SO WHOLESOME?!”
Totally bull.
I don’t have a problem with Heinrey starting a war or doing shady stuff because that’s ironically the only part of his personality that doesn’t boil down to massive vanilla flavored SIMP. What I do HAVE a problem with is how it makes zero sense how he fell in love with Navier so quickly and how there was zero tension between the two. The story never even addresses it in a meaningful way- so I say, “what was the reason?!?”
Think about it, Navier is supposed to be a fantastic empress who works hard for her people and is super politically savvy but none of that shows with Heinrey or his weirdo friend. Ironically her marrying Heinrey to still maintain her power could’ve been more interesting if she really did use it as an undercover spy thing if she were suspicious about him- because I mean how did she not put two and two together? Since Heinrey came into town people- WIZARDS a huge part of her empire started losing power and an uneducated slave started pulling powers move that she’d otherwise not know about- like how didn’t she figure something out??? Is she stupid?
I also like how the citizens rightfully feel betrayed by this and get angry- for once it’s actually some realism! But the story only uses it to say “OwO poor lil Navier no one understands our queen/goddess 🥺 stupid peasants!”

You know what's even ironic, the fact that Kaufman is still in love with navier even though she's now pregnant with heinreys children. And the fact that kosair, naviers brother is a violent man that caused him to be outside the borders and how he even goes tok far as to feed rashta abortion drugs is so scummy. How the hell didn't navier even stop or at least call them out for their shit?
Because Navier doesn’t care. Slavery is a huge problem in her empire but she barely bats an eye at that when we’re supposed to believe she’s this ‘fantastic empress.’ Honey- where??? ((Stop congratulating people for doing the bare minimum lol)) It’s really just a bunch of telling but no showing especially for a story that should be a bit more politically involved?? Plus We really don’t see her interact with the lower class save for that magical orphan who- as we see has to be magical in order to get said attention in the first place! (Fantastic philanthropy really)
How ironic would it have been if she’d been originally pushing to end slavery before Sovidiot brought in Rashta?
Ngl Id actually be more sympathetic to Navier as a whole as despite her cold exterior it showed that you know she was actually pushing for reform for the lower class citizens! But nah she can’t be bothered to deal with peasants.
But back to your point- Can someone please tell me what the whole point of the Kaufman/Navier plotline was? Because honest to goodness it sounds like pointless drama to extend the story length at this point. Either that or just show how irresistible goddess Navier is.
Someone once reblogged/replied to my last post and said that no one in this series is a morally good person. That’s fair. I agree they’re all pretty terrible people in their own ways. Honestly I’ve said it time and time again. I don’t have a problem that they’re terrible people.
Good characters =/= good people
What irks me is when the novel disrespectfully handles heavy topics like slavery and trauma to build up its Mary Sue fl. The whole story markets itself as being some pro feminism revenge story but it’s really not? It doesn’t feel like at least half of the cast gets their proper comeuppance? No seriously- Sovieshu should’ve kicked the bucket. Heinrey and his creepy friend should’ve been held more accountable to a higher degree as well.
Navier isn’t a girl’s girl at all. To both the character and story’s fault Everyone must either worship her or hate her. No one who disagrees with her is allowed any sort of meaningful empathy that Navier in my opinion is sort of undeserving of. (Anyone is free to argue this- but she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and everything magically works out for her. I’m supposed to feel more sorry for her than the girl who was sold by her abusive father into slavery?) hahaha no.
At this point I’d advise people who actually want to see a pro feminism story with political intrigue to read ‘I’ll Saved this damn family!’ Now that’s a story that can treat other women who aren’t the fl well and promotes pretty good relationships between them too.

Some quick thoughts about “I will fall with the emperor,” ((All the way up to Chapter 15)
quick shout-out to: @angel-tsugikuni-kamukura for recommending I check out this one!
A quick note: this is based on what I have read so far all the way up until Chapter 15. I will continue to read past it in a little bit to see if the plot starts picking up and whatnot.
Now before we begin let’s just do a quick synopsis to catch everyone up to speed on the plot, shall we?
A quick synopsis:
Our story follows Larcy, the oldest illegitimate magical princess of Berry. Once noted for her kindness and deep love for her family, she was unfortunately exploited by her family into a deadly war to rescue her younger sister from the hands of a rival emperor. While in prison she’s tortured and beaten eventually being sentenced to death after a gigantic propaganda campaign her loving family did once they no longer needed her. After waking up in a second life she decides to become a villainess marrying the emperor of the rival kingdom as she seeks to take vengeance on her fake family members.
Ok so here are my thoughts:
-the art for this story is very very pretty. The fl is so pretty that she reminds me of Bayonetta and I really loved her black hair. I actually prefer her black hair over her blonde one.

-the fl actually acts like a villainess and fights back. I hate how she abuses the innocent maids at first and never apologized for it but the way how she put the concubines in their place was great.

-the fl is the second biggest pro for this story- the amount of self respect and self worth she gains this time around is lovely and so refreshing to see.

YES MA’AMMMM!!!
The ml is trash, like actual garbage that can’t be recycled. Any fictional man you have to work to prove your worth for is one not worth simping for- unless he’s Kyle where he’s just naturally better than you in every way- BUT I DIGRESS. The emperor unfortunately does not have any sort of charisma or pop to add pizzaz to his cruelty so he ultimately comes off as boring to me. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing wrong with a bad or mean ml that doesn’t have the sole personality trait of simping for the fl. What I don’t like is when he’s as bland as bread like where is the flavor?!? I honestly like the butler more than him- the butler is literally a background ornament but has more charisma/personality/likability than the main male lead.

I honestly think he should quit his day job and become like a singer or something- I mean his policies are shoddy but his hairstyle ain’t lol

Tiny energy realness
We shall see how things progress.

Do you think that Rashta wanted to be accepted by Navier I mean we all know she surely did, but then it all changed after some time. So why did she hallucinate Navier accepting her? In her last moments when she killed herself (at least that's what I know, I didn't find it anywhere that Sovieshu executed her but probably because of some search error) she rethinks about her decisions and how things would have be different if she was accepted.
I think she did. I don't think she was bad from the getgo but then so many people brainwashed/messed with her head and then you had sovidiot and Navier the political goddess doing everything in their intellectual power to not sit down and give the matter some serious thought to put two and two together to realize what was really happening despite the fact that they had political enemies in close proximity.
*Sigh*
I just don't like this story sometimes.
If what you say is true it sounds like she'd rather blame another woman for her troubles rather than the selfish man who put her there in the first place. This story really can't help itself when it comes to finding ways to make women not named Navier look bad.
Remarried Empress stop pitting women against each other to make Navier look like a goddess CHALLENGE [IMPOSSIBLE] (POLICE WERE CALLED) (GONE WRONG)

Hey will you check out this isekai maid is forming a union,Its on webtoons and tapas and it not only focuses on a commoner than nobles and duchess but it's a meta deconstruction on the rofan/otome isekai genre
I've actually been reading that one! I do like it quite a bit but I fell a bit behind. I'll definitely catch up on it soon!
You have no idea how many praises I was singing in various tongues that we finally had a character ask the isekai'd people can go from living in modern/liberal times to easily transitioning to the dark ages.

Hello, I know this page is not a recs nor library page. But at this point, I.AM.DESPERATE!!! I can't seems to recover nor remember the title of this one isekai/romance/slice of life/college manhwa that I read eons ago. I remember bits and pieces of it such as:
- the fl is pretty and is dating this one boy
- one day the boy decided on breaking up with her because he can't stand the fact that she bullies people
- after the break up, an intruder gets to her house and stabbed her to death
And some minor details like:
1. Fl's family don't approve of her becoming a news broadcaster
2. The ML has a sister who's bullied
3. He also has a girl best friend who has a crush on him.
Any of you who are aware of the title, PLS HELP! because I'm so desperate at this point and are willing to do anything to find the title 😭😭
I’ll pass this onto my followers to see if anyone knows this-
If no one has any answers I’d suggest looking at the otome isekai subreddit
