I was doing a roleplay-heavy playthrough of PokemonPureBlue, a really neat romhack of the original GB games. I wanted to have my trainer age a few years over the course of his adventure, gaining confidence and progressing further in his transition as time went on-- illustrated through team photos upon acquiring each badge!

Unfortunately I let this one fall by the wayside before I could even finish the cascade badge pic... ah well. Maybe I'll pick it up again some other time.

New years' resolutions this time around involves making ( and posting ) more art, ideally in different mediums, so here's a little list for myself of the kinds of stuff I'd like to get up to:

Environmental art for games ( read: portfolio pieces )

Low-Poly art, in the same vein as some character art I did a few years ago ( with animations and environments, maybe? )

Make my first-ever plush!

OC Reference sheets

One ( 1 ) art piece of any kind a month, minimum.

Personal art style assessment & goal-setting RE: weaknesses to tackle / comfort zones to expand.

This may come with a theme overhaul for this blog, we'll see how much energy I decide to put into it. This one's always been an afterthought compared to my mysterious activities ✨ elsewhere... ✨ and I prefer to be transparent about that.

Oh yeah and I'm about to upload a bunch of art from this year and the last, heeheehee
