Words can´t describe how happy I am: My debutalbum „Heartware“ has been voted as their favourite album of 2022 by @fazemag readers. Around 23000 people took place and it´s such a big honor that my album is on top of a list full of great artists and albums. First of all I would like to thank my partner and @bungalo_disco label partner Tania, who put so much work and energy in creating a stunning artwork and design. Without her the album would not look and feel as good as it is. People who already have it know what I am talking about. Then I would like to thank my brother Martin who took the pictures of the booklet and @geraldvonforis who made super cool press pictures. Besides that I would also like to thank @my45vinylpressing for taking care of the production and making it possible to keep all tight deadlines, @robertdrewek and his team from @dbh_music_distribution for the great distribution work, @steffenmuellermastering for his superb analog mastering and Felix from @silentshoutcommunications for spreading the word! I would also like to thank @svenmanfaze and his team for presenting my album in their magazine. I also would like to thank my friends @anthony_rother and @kris_menace for their great and helpful feedback when i was mixing my album. Thank you also my friend @defexogram who let me use his studio for writing and producing the song „I feel lonely“. Thank you to my parents and family for always supporting me. Last but not least I would like to thank everybody who bought the album in any of it´s forms (vinyl, cd, tape or digital), posted or reposted it and charted it. Without you this award would not been possible. As some of you know 20 years ago i won several national and international titles as a dj at championships. There has always been a well curated jury out of former champions. This reader award now is something very special for me because it was not given by a jury but by people, who like and love my album. 2022 Recap series part 3: We had four great releases on @bungalo_disco in 2022 that we are really proud of to have them on our label. First one was „Discorsi“ by @machia_and_velli (co-produced by tobitob) with great remixes by @deomidmusic and @moonbootica_official Next release was „Altered States“ by MEMEX, a project by @jekapeli and @mattfriedman_ Third one was @kaychi__ with his „Brighter Shadows“ EP. Happy New Year everyone! In January I’ll make a recap series of 2022 for me to remember what had happened in 12 months. I start with my debutalbum „Heartware“ what has been a giant step in my career but also personally. Although there have been some offers from other labels i decided to release it on my own label @bungalo_disco with the help of my partner Tania. Without her Heartware would not be as nice and cool as it is. She spent lots of time, love and energy in designing the cover and booklet. The most important point for releasing it on my own label was to have 100% creative control and freedom in any step without making any compromises or having discussions. Although it was a lot of work from the very first note till bringing the final product into the stores worldwide it was absolutely worth doing it exactly this way. Another important decision was not to put it out on spotify, itunes, amazon, etc. in the first step. At the moment it’s available on vinyl on bandcamp, physical recordstores worldwide and digital recordstores as well. Besides that it’s available on cd and tape and as digital download exclusively on bandcamp. Thank you @robertdrewek and your team from @dbh_music_distribution for making an amazing distribution job to have this album in stores worldwide and for believing in Bungalo Disco since the very first record! I really want to thank you all out there for your support and lovely messages! The answer is quite simple: It’s a picture of four coloured 3,5“ floppy discs of mine that have been labeled with the tracks of the album.
