Jesus god can y’’all stop saying ‘Finn Wolfhard only plays bi/gay boys who are in love with their friends’ or whatever? It’s 1. not even true, he plays two characters (Richie and Boris) who are super minimally queercoded (which more or less adds up to 1), and has played lots of Straight Characters and 2. I’ve seen this ‘joke’ way too many times, it’s dead, guys.

God the “representation” in IT Chapter 2 feels like the one line in How to Train Your Dragon 2 that implied a character was gay and honestly? It feels bad seeing you all praising it for doing barely anything.

IT Chapter 2 screenwriter 1: Hey, let's make one of the Losers gay.

IT Chapter 2 screenwriter 2: Alright, well, I mean Eddie's already gay-coded in the book so-  

Screenwriter 1, snorting a line of crack: No.

Screenwriter 1: Let’s have Henry Bowers call Richie a slur and refuse to even touch on his sexuality until the end, whereupon it’s revealed he watched his first love die.

Screenwriter 2, also snorting crack: We did it. We’ve represented the gays.

Why the hell would they play 0.4 seconds of Juice Newton’s Angel in the Morning when the leper threw up on Eddie? I am losing my fucking mind over this

It was a really bold choice to make the running joke of IT Chapter 2 about how Stephen King’s endings suck and then make the entire movie suck. Go off I guess.

Everyone is like “Reddies won” but I don’t know what you guys won? An ambiguously gay character and an unrequited crush? We, as gays, need to stand up for ourselves.

God, I can’t get over Eddie saying “Let’s take our shirts off and kiss.” during arm wrestling. Obviously, it’s a joke but there’s no lead-up or reaction and nobody would actually say that.

God the scene where they were yelling “clown” at IT almost made me cry. Not because it was emotional, but because it was so bad.

All I’m saying is the supercut better have a Richie coming out scene or something because otherwise they pretty much just called Richie a slur and hinted at a (as far as we know) unrequited crush and expected us all to Know.
