Chelsea Dagger - The Fratellis

The song's namesake is Jon Fratelli's wife, who was a burlesque dancer who went by the stage name Chelsea Dagger.

But before I knew the song's history, I had always considered the character Chelsea Dagger to be a transfeminine individual. There are several lines of lyrics that suggested this:

The song begins with "Well, you must be a girl with shoes like that // She said, you know me well"; at the start of the second verse, Fratelli sings, "Well you must be a boy with bones like that // She said, you got me wrong".

I dunno, it just kind of works in my head. I originally was going to expand more on it, but I lost my train of thought, so that's that.

1st blog post

Hello! I'm Rain, I use she/her and optionally they/them pronouns.

I decided to create a tumblr blog because I have lots of thoughts all the time that I want to be able to share with people. Therefore, I will be posting all the random bullshit that pops into my head because I've never had an outlet for any of this stuff.

I don't care about the internet brownie points or whatever this site uses to promote content, but it would be nice to know that other people can see my posts and that I'm not just talking to myself.

So, starting today, I will begin posting my random thoughts. I have lots of interests, hobbies, and other traits that might make an appearance. There may be vent posts or very short panic posts, longer informational posts, and everything in between. Most likely there will be no pictures, memes, or irrelevant quotes that few people care about.
