iraincloud’s scholarship

Hello everyone, this is iraincloud’s boyfriend again. I have gotten word that her father has setup a gofundme account to help fund iraincloud’s scholarship (https://www.gofundme.com/4fdmzzcc). She was a kind and beautiful soul who loved to help people and this scholarship will help her do just that. Please help spread the word to everyone in the Tumblr and MLP community.

I also want to say thank you again to everyone in this loving community for all the kind words and support her family and I continue to receive. Her family is blown away with how many followers she had and the love that was given to her.

Hello everyone,

This is iraincloud’s boyfriend again with some more news and updates.

First, her family and I went through her belongings yesterday and found all kinds of art, sketches, doodles and other little projects that I do not think were every shown to Tumblr. I have had questions in regards to me posting art I found and I said I would honor her by posting any art I found, finished or unfinished. However, it was very painful to see her art, notes and journals yesterday and I am not ready to dig deep into them yet. Her family and I will go through her stuff more thoroughly sometime in the future, hopefully when our emotions are a little more stable. We are thinking around summer of 2016. If I get the strength to look at them and post them earlier, I will but for now, hang tight.

Second, I have had questions about sending donations. Her family agreed that you could make a donation under her name, Chelsea, to the SPCA or a local animal shelter. She loved all animals beyond a doubt and she cared for their well being.

Third, we got word from her college, New Mexico State University, that they will be awarding her Bachelor degree posthumously, she will be receiving it in Graphic Arts. Along with this good news, I found out that her parents will be setting up a scholarship under her name. Her parents have to make the requirements still but when they do I will provide a gofundme, or something similar, link so that we can collect donations for the scholarship.

I may not respond to questions right away for the next few days, I have a lot going on still but I will try to answer any and all questions. Please continue to pray for her and her family.

Again, thank you guys for all the support, I am glad she was part of this community. If I learn anything else or hear anything else I will let all of you know through her Tumblr account.

Hello everyone,

This is iraincloud’s boyfriend. I unfortunately have to make this post. On October 20, 2015, iraincloud passed away suddenly. She passed out on the college campus and was rushed to ER, once they arrived at the ER her heart stopped and they could not get it going again. She was only 23.

She was loved by many and will be missed by everyone. She loved working on her art and working on her numerous blogs. Every step of progress she made on a piece gave her joy in life and she always showed me what she had done. She also cherished all of her followers, every new follower she got made her work even harder on her content. She has come along way in her art and I am proud to say that I knew her and her artistic abilities, I just wish I could have seen what her art would have looked like 5 years from now.

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
