Random, but I'm kinda curious on how you do your writing, if you don't mind me asking! Do you just make a list of all the characters that will appear and make a few notes before going into writing the actual chapters or, how do you do it? Coming from a struggling writer😅

Man, I have no idea if this is the “right” way to write, but hey— it works for me, so I’m rolling with it. My process usually starts with my brain throwing me the wildest, most random ideas and scenes at completely inconvenient times— like right before bed or in the middle of eating. As soon as that happens, I immediately jot them down in my notes app before they vanish into the void forever.

Once I’ve collected a bunch of these little “brain sparks,” I sit down with my notebook and think: Okay… how the hell am I supposed to connect all of this into something that actually makes sense? That’s when I list out the characters who’ll appear in the book and make sure each one gets a moment to shine.

From there, I’ll doodle out a super rough timeline—nothing fancy, just arrows and scribbles—so I can see the general flow of events. Then I start writing, either in Word or Google Docs. At this stage, it’s just chaotic drabbles, short sentences and unfinished thoughts. Just dumping everything onto the page.

Once I’ve got the full skeleton of the story down, then I go back and flesh it out—adding details, expanding scenes, and making sure the pacing feels right. After that, I do a careful pass where I check for repetitive words, awkward phrasing and typos.

And finally—ta-da!—the new chapter is ready to post. It’s messy, it’s a little all over the place, but it’s my process, and it keeps me writing without getting stuck in perfection mode too early.

Hey I’m back

there is something that confuses me about your portrayal of adagio in R&M

Now I’m not insulting your work ( I love everything and book 3 is my fav)or anything I’m just curious why you made adagio act like that? (The whole abusing sonata thing and how much more messed up she acted)

*Sighs* Yeah… I figured this question would pop up eventually. And just to make it super clear from the start: I don’t hate Adagio. Like, at all. I actually love her. Her voice? Killer. Her design? Absolutely stunning. And that confidence she carries? So iconic. She’s a total queen and I get why people stan her so hard—I do too!

But when I was writing her for this story, I kept getting reminded of another character: Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender. You know the one—super powerful, insanely intelligent, manipulative, and terrifyingly composed on the outside… but slowly unraveling on the inside. That duality has always fascinated me. Azula’s someone who craves control, and when things start slipping through her fingers, she lashes out, becomes unstable, and ultimately hurts the people around her—even the ones she actually cares about. And in that same vein, I saw Adagio as someone who’s clinging way too hard to her authority and image.

So with that in mind, I made a creative decision to explore what Adagio might look like if she internalized all that bitterness and failure—and then projected it outward, especially toward Sonata, who’s often portrayed as the more naive or carefree one. I wanted to dive into how that need for dominance could twist into something darker and toxic.

I totally understand if it’s jarring or upsetting. But I felt like this version of Adagio gave me the space to explore some deeper, messier emotions—without losing what makes her compelling in the first place.

So yeah! That’s where I was coming from with her portrayal. 💜

In your Robots and Magic series, is there a timeline from the first book to the current one? Like, how long has it been since the girls have met the bots?

From Volume 1 to Volume 3, the entire story takes place over the course of about three months, basically the girls’ summer break.

The next part of the story will pick up as they start their final year at Canterlot High, so they’ll be heading into senior year.

It just comes to me and I need to ask; in your Transformers x MLP EG crossover stories, how old do you interpret the bots to be? Like some may take Prime Bumblebee as a teenager that soon to be a young adult in RID. The girls are teenagers, right? Just want to be safe before shipping anyone here.

Yes, the Equestria Girls are teenagers, and for the sake of this story, I interpret them as being between 18 and 19 years old. This lines up with canon clues like when pony Fluttershy says she’s one year older than Pinkie in MLP: FiM Season 1.

As for the Transformers, this is where things get more flexible. Cybertronians are technically millions of years old, but age in their species doesn’t work the same way as it does for humans.

Even though the age gap is technically huge, I treat relationships based more on maturity compatibility than raw numbers. Cybertronians don’t age or develop the same way we do. So in this AU, relationships (romantic or otherwise) are written with mutual respect, emotional maturity and consent in mind.

Twilight fell asleep in the base due to not paying attention to hours. Ratchet, little annoyed ("You shouldn't push yourself so hard." says the workaholic hypocrite ) gives her a blanket and continues in research.

Deep in his work, he doesn't notice Twilight twitching in her sleep. "No...stay...away." she mumbles.

Then, there on her forehead,hidden by the locks of hair, a little dot of blue light starts to appear. "No,..no.." Twilight's discomfort starts showing as a frown. And as twiching and mumbling increases, the dot starts elonging, pushing from behind curtains of hair. Growing into shape of horn.

Magic starts influencing everything around. First nearest small items start floating. It soon however, starst affecting bigger and bigger objects. And yet, Ratchet noticed nothing.

He finally gets pulled from it to shout on Fixit for making unnecessary noise and dissturbed him during the work, only to halt and stand there with wide optics and intake. As it turns out the "unnecessary noise" were Fixits cries for help, as he was stuck floating midair.

Ratchet, who soon shakes from his stupor, finally looks at nearest source of magic and sees that something is wrong. But no matter how much he screams and pokes, Twilight just won't wake up.

Out of options, Ratchet uses his sirens. Which,althought with startle and scream, finally wakes her up. The horn and the magic dissapiers, thanks to which many items + Fixit fall on the floor.

And Twilight has a lot of explaing (and cleaning) to do.

@kamenridersin I really like this idea! I can easily imagine Ratchet and Fixit being exactly the kind of 'Bots Twilight would feel safe opening up to. They’d immediately pick up on her distress.
