Non passing trans men don't benefit from misogyny whatsoever, besides possibly on the internet. If they are seen as a woman in someone's eyes, especially legally, they do not benefit from it. If you are not seen as a man by society, regardless of if you are or not, you do not benefit from misogyny.
It's that fuckin simple.

repeating tics multiple times isn't a sign of faking!
(it's very common in tourettes, especially in tourettic OCD)
someone laughing at their own tics isn't a sign of faking!
(everyone deserves laughter and healthy coping mechanisms)
having tics that reference something related to a conversation or something in the environment isn't a sign of faking!
(its very common in tourettes)
having tics from other content creators isn't a sign of faking!
(its called echolalia, and its very common in tourettes)
having tics that appear 'dramatic' or 'forceful' isn't a sign of faking!
(a clinical feature of complex tics is that they can appear forced even though they are not)
having any sort of stereotyped symptom related to tourettes isn't a sign of faking!
(duhh??)
someone online claiming another person is faking tics... isn't actual proof of faking!
(refer back to above points)
fakeclaiming never has and never will benefit the tics and tourettes community.

It's impressive how Neil Gaiman vanished from the internet. Wish Rowling would do the same.

the assisted dying debate is so crazy
because i do fundamentally believe everyone should have the right to die when they want.
BUT if they legalise assisted suicide in the UK right now i don't trust our ableist fucking government to not just start coercing disabled people into suicide to save money. they already won't give them enough money to live.

Tics vs Stimming
Lecture slides from my current university course
[PLAIN TEXT:
ASD and Tic Disorders
Diagnostic Criteria and Symptom Expression
Common features of ASD-like stereotypies and tic disorders include abnormal motor movements, echolalia, need for sameness, and behavioural rigidity
This may make the two conditions appear hard to distinguish, but in fact the similarities are largely superficial
In short, the topography of tics, which are rapid, involuntary, and nonrhythmic, is quite different from the stereotypies of ASD, which tend to be rhythmic (e.g., hand flapping, pacing, rocking), longer in duration, and under some voluntary control.
END PLAIN TEXT]
[PLAIN TEXT:
ASD and Tic Disorders
Other features that may assist in differentiating symptoms include:
ASD motor mannerism tend to involve the hands, fingers, and whole body, whereas tics typically involve the face, neck, arms, and shoulders;
Individuals with tics may seem distressed by the behaviours, whereas individuals performing autistic stereotypies are not;
Stereotyped movements are less variable over time (not waxing and waning) and less influenced by psychosocial factors.
END PLAIN TEXT].
