Just one object? Singleton said, Yes!
A quick look at how many are there to create objects in java and how can we fix all those ways, so we can only create one object for a class, which is what Singleton pattern is all about. Further, it has to be accessed in a global way. static rings a bell? Yeah. But details inside.聽

My Youtube Channel
Why am I in there?聽
Well, I spend a lot of time learning Technical stuff for my work. 2 weeks back, thanks to the pandemic, I was kicked out of the project. Finding new work is not easy. One has to prepare for interviews. And it is all over again.聽
Somehow one day I decided to use the opportunity for better. Better for me better for everyone else. There are topics I spend hours just googling and trying to find a good tutorial or documentation. So I decided to do videos on those.聽
And, a mild interest on the monetary benefits one would get if one is lucky enough. Getting monetary benefits from YouTube is like entrepreneurship. We know thousands start and only a handful reach the goal line. But I am trying to be positive as amidst the global pandemic the only thing all of us should have is hope and positivity, at least until such time that the smart brains working on finding the answers find the answers.聽
Now, if, only if you want to know SOLID principles in programming, to write clean code, I have a playlist on it. Others ignore. Or have a look at it and feedback. :)

Chasing two rabbits...
Yes, I have never caught one. :D
Some would say greed or with some it鈥檚 madness and to me it鈥檚 a dream that would help me achieve either if not both (little greed comes here I guess :P).聽
Greed because you do not even have one but you are chasing 2 at a time. Madness as chasing one would not allow you to catch your breath. Dream only if you have never caught one before

Well it鈥檚 always wise to have a plan B when you are uncertain about plan A. Eventhough plan A is plan A for a reason, the more uncertain you are with its result, the more effort you have to put in your plan B. Uncertainty always rewards you with a lot many problems than you anticipate.
Hence having a pretty good plan B is of utmost importance for every uncertain plan A. A good plan B would help you bounce back and help you get back on track to pursue plan A.
Just make sure you are certain about your plan B :D

Spin the wheel and...
Spinning the wheel is what comes to my mind, everytime I try to read a question faster. Sometimes roller coaster :D

Clearly even an experienced player, would go for guess-timation or sometimes to his blind belief, if you spin a wheel and ask for the position of the ball. Now that is how it would be in GMAT or any exam for that matter, reading a question faster.聽
I am pretty sure some of us try not to waste time in reading what is already been given to us and strive hard to find the variable or answer for the unfamiliar. If you end up in guess-timation as said in above analogy, you would fair well in GMAT. Else take your time now and understand the situation you are trying to create for yourself.
How fast should I read ? 聽Well that depends on your comfort level. Some would be able to find the position of the ball even with the wheel spinning at its top speed. The ability certainly would come from practice.
But safest bet is always take it a notch down and considering the time we put in reading the question is not waste of time but an investment.

Long time back...
It all started way back in college, when I first came to know about Business Administration and thought how cool of a profession it would be, to make decisions that could build/run a company or help a nation by predicting its growth and stuff. Without any second thoughts I decided to take CAT, the Indian way to live my dream.
With its history and the intro given at the coaching center, which I rarely visit, I knew CAT would not be a piece of cake. But in my final year I took the exam and scored 87 percentile, which was pretty decent considering the fact that I did not prepare as such except attending classes which ofcourse was irregular. I started feeling good and kinda over-confident I would say, retrospecting now. :D
Next comes my Job with Infosys. Well to be honest you are not expected to do a lot of work but as and when you do stuff and sail through some tough situations you start to build up a reputation and expectations. Now what I have in hand is far better and important than something that is faaar away. Yes I did not give up on CAT and MBA, but I had started taking my profession seriously because of which I started to spend more hours at office and sometimes weekends. Not everyone in a team gives their 100%. Some has to put in more to balance it out sometimes.聽
Years went on, I have taken CAT thrice since and I am still with Infosys :P Well I would say I was not sincere with my preparations. At a level deep inside my head, I had this thing like I can鈥檛 put in more time and effort for prep but I still would like an admission into IIMs if not FMS. Yeah, FMS was my dream school.聽
On the other hand, I have been keeping myself busy at work. My professional life has been pretty decent and rewarding. I worked at this foreign country for a while at a client location. People at higher level in my management know my name (which is very imp in corporate world) and they think I have potential and they can count on me. But...
