I created this blog when I was 18; I’m 26 now. I somehow have ~2,500 followers on here — you all have no idea how much this blog meant to me as a teen. If any of you are still here — thank you for the community you provided me during the hardest times of my life.

One Direction got me through my father’s death when I was age 15 (and the years of chemotherapy he endured when I was 12-14), as well as losing my mother at 21, both to cancer. For many people, including myself, One Direction will always hold a special place in their hearts.

To Liam’s family, know that the little boy you allowed to touch the lives of others will live on in the hearts of many.
