Okay but I literally don't understand why people hate when someone's first question when they're upset is "did I do something?", cause, its not even a "I'm the centre if the universe" kind of deal, its just the first question i feel you should ask someone before moving on to other questions, cause if you have done something, you're probably the last person they want to confide in atm. It's literally just a way of checking if you want to talk about it with me or if you want me to leave you alone until you're ready to talk about what I did. Isn't it worse if the person you're upset with is the one who keeps pressing you about what's wrong and doesn't even consider that they might be the problem? Yell at me if I'm being obtuse here but this feels like common sense imo.
