He got two netherite chestplates from mobs and enchanted one of them. He is now wearing an enchanted netherite chestplate to try to get Cucuruchos attention.

Cucurucho has not stopped him at all and he is just building his titan

I dont know if its sad or funny that Cucurucho is just straight up ignoring him
