Except they're terrible for their followers' health so as soon as the Goddess of Time shows up they begin to follow her instead, which annoys the twins so much they fuse and go on a rampage, which is subsequently put down by the Oni, who dies in the process and ends up sealed in a mask alongside them - albeit more to keep him alive than to seal his powers away as was the reason for their maskification.
