I was offered sex today by a 26 year old man. in exchange of that I was supposed to advertise some kind of bathroom cleaner on my tumblr. of course i declined because of my morals and strong will power. which is just as strong as ajox. the super strong bathroom cleaner. now avaliable scented with lemon or vanilla.

Watching TikTok try and rewrite fandom history by saying fandom culture was created by teenage girls makes me eye twitch to an extent I鈥檝e never felt it twitch before. The middle aged women printing out Spirk erotica to share with each other in the 1900s did not die for this!!!! How dare you erase our important historic moments!!! You would be nowhere without the 30 year old women who dedicated their free time to making these spaces happen. Put some respect on their names!!!!

Not a single original experience, istg
The secret to being a private person is to overshare dumb shit so people think you are an open book but then not tell them any of the important details of your life.

Also also also
It's literally parallel to the morgue scene in ASiB. And when you compare the two, there's some really neat symmetries here.
The obvious: 'All hearts are broken' and 'Your loss would break my heart'. In Scandal, Mycroft scolds Sherlock for falling in love. So in HLV, he admits to... what exactly? Hm?
Both episodes are set around Christmas. In Scandal, not only is Mycroft absent from the little Christmas do at 221B, he even reacts irritated when Sherlock calls him, and just before that, we can see him sitting by the fire. His hankerchief is rumpled as if he's been using it, and he looks tired. Has he been crying? In Vow, he's almost cheerful during their conversation, clearly happy that they're spending Christmas together.
In Scandal, Sherlock accepts the cigarette but doesn't finish it. In Vow, he continues to smoke with his brother. Both times, it's framed as a transgression. The cigarette is a metaphor, I keep going on abt it bc it's true. I've said it before in this post.
In Scandal, Mycroft says Merry Christmas in response to why he's 'letting' Sherlock have a cigarette. Before they have their smoke. In Vow, Merry Christmas is said, again by Mycroft, at the end of their conversation.
In Scandal, Sherlock later says Merry Christmas to Mycroft, to which he replies 'and a happy New Year', clearly implying a sense of dread. In Vow, Sherlock doesn't say it at all until right before he shoots Magnussen in the head. So much for Mycroft's very accurate feeling of impending doom.
When Mummy Holmes catches them in Vow, Sherlock blames Mycroft and Mycroft lets it slide. That's bc they both understand their current conversation to be a continuation the one in Scandal, and so, it was indeed Mycroft.
In Scandal, Sherlock has fucked up and accidentally fed information to Moriarty. In Vow, it's been Mycroft (even though we don't know it yet) who's been feeding information abt Sherlock to Moriarty.
Both in Scandal and in TAB (which really is the conclusion to the events in Vow), the brothers argue on a plane. In Scandal, it's Mycroft who leaves Sherlock feeling small, in TAB, it's Mycroft who seems utterly defeated.
It's just very interesting that the one episode in which Sherlock is shown to have romantic feelings for someone is the one that's being mirrored here. The episode in which it's been very much spelled out that the only thing that really attracts Sherlock and makes him feel a deeper connection is intellect to match his own.
Oh, and Christmas dinners are mentioned in the very first scene we (and John) see Sherlock and Mycroft interact, in ASiP. You know, the scene where John is shocked to learn they're brothers?
I am not over how romantically coded Mycroft's "Your loss would break my heart" while facing away from Sherlock and him choking on his cigarette in response is.
Like that is a love confession.

#holmescest#sherlock bbc#holmes brothers#no fully#sherlock choking on his cigarette was the appropriate response#bc he drugged his brother and the first thing the man blurts out when it hits is#that he loves him
