BY LAWS ON FARMHOUSE PROVISIONS

Farmhouse living is a trendy catch nowadays as the city of Gardens Lahore is bustling & expanding every day. Peaceful land for a living is possible in a broad farmhouse where there is serenity along with luxury. Respectively Chaudhary Farms and IVY Farms are the perfect blends for such a healthy lifestyle.

According to the bylaws of Building, a Farmhouse giving by LDA is as followings.  

Stories in a farmhouse can’t be more than two, with a maximum height of 30 feet (9.15m).

·         Only one basement floor is permitted

·         Mandatory spaces have to be left vacant

·         Maximum ground coverage shall only be 30%

The farmhouse can accommodate animals for dairy/poultry, for that appropriate standard and protective measures are specified under the Environmental Protection Act 1997.

Open spaces for farmhouses are Mandatory:

Frontage of Plot               Rear Space          Side Space

Less than 30-feet       5 feet          Not required

30 feet & above but up to 50 feet       5 feet on both sides

Above 50-feet & up to 70-feet           10 feet  5 feet on both sides

Above 70-feet   10 feet                 10 feet on both sides
