Lads night out

It's been a while since I've actually had a Saturday off without requesting it off. I've organised a meal and drinks with my lads who I haven't seen in forever. I may have work in the morning, but in the words of 'the dude'

Fuck it's been a while since I posted anything

Sooooooo I know Valentines Day is a load of shit. When I was single I used to hate it, and was just a nice excuse to hang out with my girls and get drunk. Since I was in New Zealand last year, I didn't see Sam on V Day, and the same for this year. I promised him that when I come to Nottingham next I will take us out to one of our favourite restaurants - Annie's Burger Shack. And that I did, nothing too mushy but just something to say thanks for having sex with me and spooning me while I sleep for a year and a bit. We had a lovely time and the meal was spot on. I guess when you're a couple it's sort of hard to ignore Valentines, because other people wanna ask what you're doing for it, what did you get each other, and if you say nothing they just give you this stupid look of, 'omg you must not love each other then!' But when you're single it's cool to get drunk and eat chocolate. Sam said I could open my presents early because we're not seeing each other for a while. I got a pair of earrings and a Game Boy Colour. I guess what I'm trying to say is... He's fucking awesome.

It’s been a couple of crap weeks

So I quit Starbucks.

Applied to work for Apple.

Still haven’t heard from Apple and it’s been 43 years (Ok more like 2 weeks)

Just being generally sad. 

Sam said he doesn’t want to move to Bristol.

HOWEVER!

Even though it’s been so shit at the moment, I finally contacted Apple after three interviews, they said they are super duper busy, which I can defo believe, so it’s going to take a while to know, which is just super annoying when you need a job. I do still feel amazing for not working at Starbucks anymore, that place was seriously putting me in a dark place. 

So!

Sam and I are still super happy together. It’s just making that next step on moving in together and making this long distances relationship a more stable, closer relationship. After tears and long pauses, I’ve agreed to move to Nottingham in the near future :D

So thats the exciting part. 

I still need a job. ffs.

I don’t understand why everyone is shitting on Banksy’s Dismaland

Wanna know something? Banksy is controversial in all his artwork.

 He has given opportunities to lesser known artists (Females and POCs). Sure his name is on the front of it… but would it gain interest of the public if it was a lesser known artist? No. Banksy is from Bristol. They know who he is. You need a name to bring people in. You may think you would go see a something by an artist you hadn’t heard of before… but tbh you wouldn’t. 

And then there is this whole thing about it being priced like Disneyland/ Disney World. 

It costs £3 to enter.. that is $4.71… about 4 euros . Do you know how much Disneyland Paris is? For an adult a mini ticket is £51 (Look http://holidays.disneylandparis.co.uk/tickets/1-day-ticket.html ) you need to have some sort of commission so they (the artists) can earn a living. (before you tell me the pricing for Dismaland is a lie here you go http://www.dismaland.co.uk/) 

Don’t knock someones hard work before you go and see it you knob jockeys. It’s like judging a book by its cover. 

Also FYI I’m a huge Disney fan and I love going to Disney world… but I also love Banksy’s work
