Hey! I was wondering if you had any headcannons or ideas on a suits/lawyer au! Thanks!

I have never seen Suits in my life but let’s get into a lawyer au!!!!!!!!!!! 

Annabeth who is a rising star in the DA’s office 

her mom was DA for 10 years and is now a Senator, and has high expectations for Annabeth’s career 

Annabeth prides herself on being objective and putting the time in to do research and make sure her arguments are as solid as possible unfortunately this does not leave much time at all for a social life 

Piper, a journalist who Annabeth met when being interviewed about a case, begs her to come out sometime and is always telling her how fun the DA office crowd is once they get out of their suits 

but Annabeth likes her suits and her pencil skirts and tells herself she’s perfectly content with a glass of wine and a law journal 

then you have public defender Percy Jackson who grew up with kids he saw get chewed up and spat back out by the system 

he saw what happened to anyone who didn’t have enough for bail or who was in the wrong place at the wrong time or looked a certain way 

right out of law school he was offered a position with the DA’s office and took it, keeping his eyes on paying off all his loans, but there was a case with a kid from the neighborhood he grew up in and he felt like he just stood by as he watched the kid get railroaded into a plea deal– it really shook him to his core and he decided he would refocus on what he set out to do and jumped ship to join the public defenders office 

when he runs in to old colleagues from the DA’s office, they often take the opportunity to joke about how Percy couldn’t handle it and cracked under pressure, and Percy jabs back about still having a conscience 

he also struggles with letting loose, but unlike Annabeth many of his colleagues are the same and they commiserate over case loads and pay and those pricks that work for the DA 

Percy gets assigned to a murder case in which his client, a 17 year old kid, is being pressured to take a plea even though he maintains his innocence 

on behalf of the State of New York, Annabeth Chase walks into the courtroom and Percy swallows hard, remembering all the things he’s heard about Senator Athena’s daughter and how to her, a courtroom may as well be a game of capture the flag 

and she never loses

Percy lives with his coworker Frank, who used to work as a public defender in San Francisco, and his best friend Grover who works as an environmental researcher and activist

Annabeth starts off every conversation with Piper with “off the record” and Piper always responds with a middle finger and a “fuck you” 

Jason is a history teacher at the magnet school Percy’s client attends and proves to be a great help during the investigation (though there’s something about that guy that Percy just can’t stand) 

the case is front page news and quickly snowballs into the biggest one of Percy and Annabeth’s careers
