I had the opposite reaction to Tom Cruises Lestat that everyone else did, that motherfucker repulsed me, he made me think I didnt like men. Im blaming him personally for why I didnt like Lestst in that film

I love this lol and it's valid. But my autistic brain HAS TO mention that we're supposed to hate him because the movie is from Louis' point of view and he hates him. WE ALL HATE HIM.

I still can't believe that when I was younger (because all I had to go on was the movie) I HATED Lestat. With every fiber of my being. Nobody could convince me he was a likable character. Now, after consuming ALL of the media it's ilovehimilovehimilovehim. My younger self would be flipping shit.

Whenever Louis tells Daniel Armand is the love of his life he sounds like he's gonna throw up and honestly...same.

We know Lestat does his own makeup. But I imagine he doesn't even read the labels he just picks out what's pretty. He knows this is goes on your eyes he doesn't need to read what it's for and the lip glosses and lipsticks are self explanatory. Simple.

But one day he picks up a plumping gloss, unbeknownst to him...

"I want you to hunt me down and fuck me, before you make me as you are." Verbalizing your desires and coming close to stand by him. Kissing his lips which now hold a predatory grin.

"I'll give you a 10 second head start. Un... deux... trois..." This was going to be fun.

I JUST realized that when Louis and Armand are walking along the Seine in season 2 and dreamstat joins them, Louis pulls out his camera to take a picture of LESTAT. You can see his face shift when he puts his camera down and realizes he's not there. Ugh so romantic.

I really want to get a tattoo encompassing my love for TVC. I first watched the movie when I was 9 and I've probably seen it over 600 times at this point. I started reading the books in high school and because of some personal reasons I'm just now starting to pick the books back up again. I've fallen in love with the TV show and I've watched it all the way through 4 times. I have an idea of what I want but I'm not sold on it. Maybe the fandom can help me out?
