so many of us have a book we read when we were way too young that made us jarringly realise how tragic the world was capable of being… a serious book that our hearts felt heavier and more solid after reading. a book that made the world feel more Real and less of a dream. for me it was me reading the kite runner by khaled hosseini at the age of 10… it’s a beautiful book, by the way! i’m always surprised when someone hasn’t heard of hosseini. anyway i’d love it if you guys told me if you have a book like that too
