Fun fact, from the dawn of recorded disc (1889) until ca. 1908, 99% of all gramophone records were single sided, EXCEPT a single test pressing from 1894, where two records were crudely pressed onto eachother. So literaly Emile Berliner thought of something as genius as recording both sides of a disc and literaly refused to continue doing it in case it proved to be successful
