After taking several underwhelming shots of my two dogs at play from a standing position, I decided to get down and dirty. Laying on my belly in the dirt, I managed to get this shot from the same angle as the dogs see it, giving the viewer a better sense of being a part of the action. [1/320, F8, 100 iso] (Gregory D. Dogs at Play #2
Head on Athena. (Learned that to shoot this with a manual focus, you set your focus and wait for the dog to run through it.)

And once again, as darkness enshrouds the heart, I reach out for words, in some vain hope that I may, by chance grasp hold of the proper combination of letters and spaces that will somehow bring solace as their intended result. Upon the topic of love:
Oh freedom’s longing.
A heart unfettered, following whim and fancy. To soar upon the winds of true love, uncaring, smiling with the laughter of a heart fulfilled.
Laughing, blushing, smiling, singing to the wind and writing to the night. Wishing for nothing but that time might stop with a single kiss.
Loosed by love, the heart flies high and free, exploring the whole of life and discovering wonders undreamt.
Pure, honest, fulfilled and contented in the wholeness of the completed soul. Could I dare to dream? Could my wish come true?
Will I be set free?

Attention to detail:
One day, Roy Disney remarked to his brother Walt that Disneyland's Main Street was just about perfect. Walt immediately disagreed and bet he could find something wrong. As he neared the hub, he noticed that because they had used an odd number of alternating red and white lights over the entrance to the Coke Corner, two of the same color had to be next to each other at some point. This half red and half white bulb was the solution.
