Last week we laid our mum to rest... She was a fierce tiger mum, who fled her home to make the treacherous boat trip from Vietnam to Hong Kong and eventually the UK with nothing, raised 5 kids in a south London council estate and made sure we all didn’t stray from the correct path, and outlived the doctors estimates so she could see her granddaughter Maika.
