Happy birthday, All Might!

Toshi can’t drink, not because he gets drunk easily, is because his body is too battered and broken for him to openly drink much.

Not in here, nope, nuh uh, god forbid. To be more accurate, Jade forbids, that Toshi’s body is hurt.

As one of world’s best surgeons, Jade achieved the impossible at the age of fourteen, managed to maintain Toshi’s body at a certain level of healthy.

According to Tenko, he is still bragging to this day, and definitely will never stop.

Therefore, Toshi can actually drink to a point he’s drunk. He can only do it when he knows his older son has his other son contained though, because the little one won’t allow him to drink even a sip of alcohol.

Toshi comes home drunk from Principal Nezu throwing him a birthday party with other UA staff on the expense of him.

Jade frowns immediately once he sets eyes on his father, but he didn’t forget that today is still Toshi’s birthday. So against his better judgement, he will scold that beanpole of a parent tomorrow.

Tenko is watching TV, of the newest information of Eraserhead, his second favourite hero after All Might. Eraserhead is so cool after all, though no way as cool as Toshi.

“Welcome back, Dad.” The brothers said in unison to their father who is now giggling. He takes a sip of his sparkling water, probably trying to sober himself up.

Then pulls his sons, the loves of his life, his lights in the darkness, his precious, beautiful baby boys, into a hug so crushing that shouldn’t have been possible for someone that looks like the Symbol of Death.

Tenko’s mouth twitches, and he is unable to hide his smirk, betraying his satisfaction that he receives by a father’s hug and pride.

Jade doesn’t have any emotions on his face, he hasn’t been the greatest at it, but his eyes glow brighter. The obvious indication of him being happy.

“Happy birthday from both of us, Dad.”

“Thank you.”

“We love you, Dad.”

“I love you both too, so much.”

“You’re crying, Dad.”

“I know.”

“You’re drunk, Dad.”

“No I’m not.”

It’s not everyday Toshi survives another year of, Midoriya giving him heart attacks, Bakugo giving him heart attacls, AFO giving him heart attacks, well, basically everyone giving him heart attacks.

That includes his own sons too.

Jade got hit with a quirk that turns him into a small white fluffy chirping birdie, and Tenko decides that the best place to secure his Ototo is on Toshi’s head.

“I mean, messy hair, golden streaks, it’s practicallya nest, Dad.”

“Tenko please take a photo before i pass out from coughing too much blood.”

“I have already taken so many photos. Wait, why would this make you cough blood? He’s not that heavy.”

“No my baby’s too adorable.”

Jade decided that at this moment is the best time to nib onto Toshi’s bang.

“I’m dying of the cuteness.”

“Don’t die yet lemme get another hundreds of photos.”

Cat’s Callling Home

Ecstatic Eclipse is still not quiet after closing, even without its usual visitors, no matter big or small. The toys — mini critters, mini huggies, mini kissies, mini mommies, bigger body initiatives, they remain thriving in the mall.

They can’t leave this place without risking everything they have, the peace, the safety, the freedom, too much of a price to pay.

Jade watches over them at his usual spot — the monitor room that is filled with CCTVs, where not even an itch of his own safe haven would be overlooked.

In the silence of the room, he hears it.

Ring ring

Unexpected, but not unusual, this place has all sorts of sounds. It could be a mini critter walking in the room, Yarnaby playing with some rings, toy phones that Jade would rather destroy than having around.

Sawyer has guaranteed that toy phones are all intra-connected, so that no one would be able to sneak in a cruel prank that could’ve been disastrous.

Not that Jade doesn’t trust his partner, he does, with every clay, elastic plastic, cotton of his body, his paranoia won’t let him rest.

The eye that glows in the dark, the body that is covered in the dead bodies of toys, that face-

“Hoi, hooman!”

Jade snaps out his daily emo episodes when he felt something lands on his shoulders. It’s Square on his head, wearing herself up there like a hat.

“GET OFF HIS HEAD.”

Sawyer shouts through static from his now designated TV from the control panel with his glitching red eye, he has given up his usual spot in Jade’s phone.

Why, you ask. Well.

“Hello, neeeighbour!”

Wally is still in Sawyer’s usual spot, because he likes Sawyer’s company (he didn’t), he likes being able to see and talk to his neighbour, but the most obvious one is that he can’t find his way to Home.

Sawyer was unable to handle Wally’s monotone enthusiasm, so he made a “tactical retreat” to not, and Jade quotes, “lose what is left of my mind”.

“Hiiii, Wally!”

“Oh no, there are two of them.”

“Why are you in there?”

“In where?”

“Inside there!”

“Inside where?”

“Is the place you’re in called ‘Where’?”

“Where?”

“Alright then, I’ll go Where!”

“Where are you going?”

“Yesss, Where is where I’ll go!”

“I’m losing brain cells.”

“You don’t have brain cells.”

“Metaphorically.”

Jade rolls his eyes, but there isn’t real heat in the action itself. His life is practically built on nonsense that served no purpose, but that’s what keeps him grounded, alive.

He has a feeling no matter where he goes, the kitty who has ADHD, the Autistic little puppet, and his digital eyeball of anger issue.

[Later]

“WHY are they STILL talking?!”

“Is this making your skin crawl?”

“Metaphorically, yes.”

Jade counted, it’s been six hours, the children are still talking, and the computer is still fuming.

This is going to be a long day, and he welcomes it anytime.

He’s not sure where did Wally come from, how did he come here, or even what exactly is he. But this place, more specifically, Jade’s phone, can be his Home, for as long as he needs.

To Sawyer’s dismay for having his usual spot taken.

To Square’s joy to visit Wally.

Jade Madrigal likes to play with all the toys, no matter their sizes.

Some of them pretends to be shocked to humour Jade, some of them are genuinely shocked.

Can you tell if Catnap is actually startled or he’s faking it?

Jade: Sawyer was at the yoga retreat in Mommy’s Area, and his tv fell out of the ceiling during a warrior pose, and his screen is broken.

Dogday: Should we consider the possibility that someone pushed him?

Jade: Dogday, please. They were a bunch of peace-loving, well now, toys who spent years in the factory with my partner. Of course someone pushed him.

Tenko: Ototo, do me a favor. Call Hawks and light a fire under him. (To make Jade hurry up)

Hawks: I'm right here, Yagi.

Tenko: Oh. Good. I didn't see you come in.

Hawks: You opened the door for me. You thanked me for bringing a bottle of Chardonnay.

Tenko: Doesn’t sound like me.

Tenko: Why is it that you’re always causing commotion?

Jade: I don’t cause commotion; I am commotion.

Context: Jade Madrigal likes to give beautiful new clothes for the toys to wear, but he still has a place in Ecstatic Eclipse, that people can put the clothes they don’t want, so he can recycle the fabrics

Jade: They called me a snob, Sawyer. I'm... Oh, I'm sorry if I don't rush to throw the toys in every bargain-bin rag people tosses our way.

Sawyer: You're not really shedding the "snob" tag with that.

No safety. No food. No aid. No water. No healthcare. No education. Is this what it means to live? Is this what world accept as life?

If a group of animals were trapped, starved, and cut off from the world like this, people would be outraged. But because it's us—human beings—somehow, the world looks away.

Welcome Home x Poppy Playtime

After the website updated, Wally has a new audio that one can through the red button on the toy phone.

I had a theory that Wally went to somewhere else, he is not at Welcome Home, but he is not physically in our world neither.

So he is stuck between inside of Home and in our world, basically in a phone.

And since Sawyer is in a phone that Jade carries with him, Wally occupied his space by being in the phone too.

✨ So ✨

It happened on a normal day, where the toys are playing with the visitors, playing their role as life-like animatronics, Jade’s phone suddenly vibrates.

Jade, knowing it’s only Sawyer, decided to ignore the constant vibrations. But it doesn’t stop, instead, it intensifies, meaning Sawyer is calling him more insistently.

Against his better judgement, Jade takes out the phone from his pocket, and wants to address to whatever problem Window ‘95 has to bring on the table.

Usually, there would be a not amused eye staring back so him, or, unfortunately, there would be a single red eye that is about to commit genocide on mass, and which ironically, he did in some sort of way.

Jade was not prepared to find a, dazed, inarguably adorable pair of big ol’ eyes that belongs to a pretty smol toy-like...boy. Jade wasn’t sure if that is the right word to describe what he is seeing, but he will go with that.

That usual egotistical floating orb of arrogance is now pushed at a side, glaring at the…boy, about to combust out of pure irritation at any moment.

“Uh…”

“Finally, you decided to give me SOME attention. Now get this thing out of here!”

“Hello, neeighbor!”

“I’m sorry, who are you?”

“Don’t apologise, I’m Wally, and you’re my neighbor!”

“That makes sense.”

“No it does NOT.”

“Why are you upset, neighbor?”

“Yeah, why are you upset? You have a neighbor with you, Sawyer. Then you wouldn’t complain about me ignoring you.”

Wally turns to the ever-glowing red eye, “I’m your neighbor, neeeighbor!”

The crimsom circle is shaking, one may confuse its slight horror of living with a child, with its forever anger.

Sawyer then stares directly at Jade, “No, this is a joke! Tell me you ARE joking!”

“If this is a joke, i should laugh. Hahaha.”

Sawyer and Jade go silence when Wally laughs in a monotone yet somehow sound sincere at the same time. Jade doesn’t know how to response to that, Sawyer, on the other hand, cannot believe that this is his roommate now.

Sawyer screams, “GET HIM OUT OF HERE.” As Wally just stares at him calmly.

Jade almost dropped the phone when Sawyer yelled, “Wh-wh-how?? I don’t even know how he got in there in the first place!”

Wally points to the left, “One minute i was at Home,” then points to the right. “The second minute i was in here.”

Jade nods solemnly, “That is useful information.”

Sawyer’s eye twitches, “It isn’t, and you know it. Where IS your home?”

“Your neighborhood!”

Jade and Sawyer go silent again, but this time, Jade is too stunned to speak and Sawyer is too done to speak.

“Good luck, Sawyer, i know you’ll need it.”

“I’d say i’d lose my mind if i hadn’t lost it.”

“Figuratively?”

“Physically.”

“I’ll help you find it, neighbor!”

Sawyer lets out a long suffering sigh, “Yes…you will...”

Jade would have been laughing if his toy body permitted, “It’s probably in the ‘80s.”

Now Harley Sawyer, experiment #1345, has a roommate, Wally Darling, and Jade Madrigal is there to witness his karma.

“What did i do to deserve this?”

“It’s faster to say what you didn’t do.”

“Look neighbor, i can grab your finger!”

The answer is: @catcat-ouo wanted to add cat ears to him and frankly they suit him.

The thing next to Sawyer is a hand, either Thing got out of the Addams Family or Jade needs a hand.

Special about this au:

Poppy doesn’t exist in this au.

Sure, Poppy is very important, she’s evil or she’s just scared, yada yada.

In this au, Elliot made a capybara toy from a corpse, named it Jade. Elliot realised how smart and social Jade can be, and turned him into a humanoid toy to aid in Playtime Co.

Jade works around with actual human employees, he never has real authority, but he knows how everything works since he was here since the beginning.

Jade knew Harley Sawyer when he was recruited for Young Genius Program, and became close with him like a brother to Sawyer.

Even when Sawyer was taken out of the Program by Elliot, Jade kept contacts with Sawyer.

When Sawyer returned by Leith’s invitation and started Bigger Body Initiative, Jade became partners with him for his intelligence and nurturing nature for the children.

When Sawyer is the father that created the toys, Jade is the father that took care of the toys.

Sawyer and Jade are partners and equals, they would bicker on sight, going as far as physical fights. Yet somehow they are often working with each other perfectly, completely each other’s role.

In this au, the toys only stayed in Playtime for a year after the Hour of Joy, until Jade guided them all out. Jade killed the Prototype himself, stopping his reigh, and there’s no Poppy here that wants to blow up the entire factory.

They settled in another factory that is under Jade’s name, and Jade made it into a place where the toys can be free as themselves, as well as entertainment mall for human visitors to earn money.

The entertainment mall is Ecstatic Eclipse, where every door is automatic (because Sawyer is in control of every part of the part like he had control of Playtime Co) and every animatronics are so life-like they seem to be alive. (because they are, those are the toys)

So in this au you will see every single toy, living in harmony, casually breaking and destroying TV screens out of spite, and only one (1) human. (It isn’t human)

All big toys, Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, Catnap, Kissy Missy, Dogday, the critters, the smol Huggies, all live in this company created by Jade.

They are contented to entertaining visitors, without any stress or pressure like they used to, only need to worry what should they eat for dinner because now they have unlimited options.

Ecstatic Eclipse is a very successful company, so Jade is very rich, and he spares no expenses to treat the toys with whatever they want.

Jade himself always carries a staff for razzdle dazzle, yes he dances and performs too, and a phone that has Sawyer’s main consciousness is there.

It acts as both safekeeping from the toys killing Sawyer and that Jade and Sawyer can be together no matter when.

Building of Jade:

Jade is hollow inside, literally, he has no internal organs or blood that is necessary for his survival.

He doesn’t need substances to stay alive, and his body is made with elastic plastic and clay.

Elastic plastic allows him to be flexible and grant agility against even the fastest toys that might be aggressive.

Clay allows him to have greater endurance, and that he can fix himself even if he has taken damages from the toys.

Clay also grant him shapeshifting abilities that limit to changing his fingers to claws, and teeth to fangs, that is his hunting mode that he only used against Prototype and nobody else.

His eyes can go diluted when hunting mode (like Mommy Long Legs) to intimidate his opponent.

He does have screws and has visible joints for toys, but he always wear long sleeves and gloves to cover them.

His face doesn’t have muscles like humans do, so he has a fixed facial expression of resting-face, so he looks empty, that he is hollow.

Plus, his real voice has no emotions, hence he isn’t one of the gentle voices. Indicates that he isn’t the one that would ever lie to his children toys.

He may seem a serious person that knows everything, but actually he is always anxious and has no idea what is going on. He’s a tired dadtm.
