I have a great shame that I need to admit...

I love the coelacanth. It's a good fish, it's a great fish, it's a living fossil and that's so cool! It's a beautiful deep sea fish

I know that coelacanth is pronounced "see-luh-kanth", but I think it's nicer to call it "coh-el-uh-kanth". I don't like the real pronunciation as much as my silly made up pronunciation. Even though it's a fish that I love for being beautiful, I cannot find it within me to pronounce it's name the right way

I had a dream that a clear bag with a head of lettuce in it was a clear symbol of the revolution, and that posting such an image was basically inciting political violence in a very serious way, and was something that you would absolutely be canceled for. And I, raging anarchist that I am, at some point steeled my nerve enough to post my lettuce.

So I was at the grocery store, nervously buying a head of lettuce, looking over my shoulder the whole time, in case somebody suspected me of basically committing treason. Then I went to post it and found myself stumbling over explanations for why I felt the need to do such a thing

okay so i finished checking if we were friends in every universe and, uh, it turns out we're only friends in 6 of them. but look, i need you to understand these universes vary like crazy, okay? like 6 is actually insanely high, like way higher than most. and one of those is the universe where i accidentally killed the actor who played Dipsy from Teletubbies when i was 7 and my life went completely differently as a result. and we still ended up friends! also you were a girl in that universe for some reason. what? oh, uh, yeah, you were cute as hell. like really cute. did you just fucking giggle

I think it's really neat how a lichen is a fungus and an algae

The fungus just picks the little guy up and says "You're mine now, I'm your home" and then they grow on a rock together.
