HS Mutant Blood Names + Hex

Since mutant Lime is the only mutant blood in canon, I'd thought it would be neat to make a mutant HemoSpectrum and name them all. Since in the story Mutant Lime is referred to as Cherry along with it smelling like cherries and some people calling this blood Iron, I gave them all Plant and Metal based names.

Part 1, Part 2

Jester | Subjector Category

The Jester / Subjector Category consists of the blood colors ranging from BluePurple to PurpleMagenta. The only caste within this category being Purple.

The roles of the Jester / Subjector Category are that of Religious roles such as Priests and Bishops, and High Nobility roles such as Earls, Viscounts, and Barons. The other major role they have is keeping the bloods lower than them in check and being in charge of the land dwelling bloods for The Condesce and The Heiress.

Royalty Category

The Royalty Category consists of the blood colors ranging from some of PurpleMagenta to MagentaRed. The only caste within this category being Violet.

The roles of the Royalty Category is to help protect and raise The Heiress along with her lusus. Another role of theirs taking out any traitors from the Jester / Subjector Category.

Ruler Category

The Ruler category contains only one blood and caste, Fuchsia. The role of this caste differs depending on The Condesce and The Heiress.

The Heiress' role is to be in charge of Alternia along with all of the children and making sure Gl'bgolyb doesn't kill the entire species. Her last and final role is challenging the The Condesce for the throne.

The Condesce's role is to banish any and all adults from Alternia and add them to her army along with conquering planets. She basically has the final say of what goes on Alternia. Her last and final role is killing off any extra Heiresses that may exist.

OutCastes & Drones

OutCastes have the unique color combination of Burgundy and Fuchsia and don't really belong in the Ruler Category or the Rust Category. These bloods tend to be killed on sight due to their unique blend of powers, such as Fuchsia's Psychic Immunity and Burgundy's necromancy and psychic/psionic capabilities

Drones function as The Heiress' and The Condesce's personal soldiers that were once biological with the newer ones being all mechanical or a cyborg like entity. They have multiple roles such collecting blood for The Mother Grub, culling over populated lower blood areas, and conducting the trains. One possible/potential drone could be His Honorable Tyranny due to his similar appearance and black blood color.

The second part of my first HemoCategories post.

Hunter | Wilds

The Hunter / Wilds Category consists of the blood colors ranging from Green to TealGreen, with the only caste in this category being Olive.

The roles of Hunter / Wilds Category are that of Foot Soldiers, Bodyguards, Bounty Hunters, Bouncers, Mercenaries and in the older times, being actual Hunters.

Caretaker Category

The Caretaker Category consists of the blood colors ranging some of TealGreen and half of GreenCyan, with the only caste in this category being Jade.

The roles of the Caretaker Category are that of Caregivers, Caretakers, Midwifes, Nurses, and Nannies.

Just Category

The Just Category consists of the blood colors ranging from the later half of GreenCyan to some of BlueCyan. The only caste within this category is Teal.

The roles of the Just Category are anything and everything to do with the Law such as Lawyers, Court Reporters, Law Officers (cops) and Low Level Judges.

The term Just is in reference of one of the definitions of Just: "based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair."

Mystic Category

The Mystic Category consists of blood colors ranging from most of CyanBlue to Blue. The Castes within this category are Cerulean, Night and Indigo.

The roles of the Mystic Category are Mind Readers, High Level Soldiers, Archers, Philosophers, with Blue specifically being that of Low Nobility such as Dukes and Marquesses.

The term Mystic refers to something "having magical properties". With blue bloods being the only ones to (not including The Condesce because she's a unique case) to have mind based abilities such as Mind Control and possibly Telepathy, so in a way they could be deemed as magical.

HomeStuck HemoCategories pt 1.

Edit: Fixed some things and added information that I forgot to add.

HemoCategories is something used to organize the bloods for their uses and to better categorize them. Organized from lowest to highest in terms of Caste Ranking.

Rust Category

The Rust Category consists of blood colors ranging from Red to most of YellowOrange, with the castes in this category being Burgundy, Bole and Bronze.

The roles of the Rust Category are that of Servants, Farmers, Cleaners, Undertakers, Low Class Soldiers and other lowly jobs and positions.

Battery | Electrum Category

The Battery Category consists of blood colors ranging from YellowOrange to YellowGreen, with the castes in this category being Gold and Lime.

As the name suggests the main role of those in the Battery Category is to be used as living batteries because of their high psychic output. Their other roles involve technology such as Computer Engineers, Data Analysts, Low Level Engineers and so on.

The alternate name Electrum is a reference to the alloy that is primarily made of gold and silver. Gold being the name of the Yellow Caste and Silver being the metal associated with the Zodiac Cancer.

Soothers | Soothing Category

The Soothers Category is a unique category that consists of only YellowGreen bloods and one TealBlue blood, with the only castes being Lime and Night.

Soothers Category have the roles of Healers, Soothsayers and Herbalists. All within this category have the unique power to calm and pacify any and all bloods with it mostly affecting the High Class Bloods. Night-bloods are the only outliers of this category due to them being the only Higher Ranking blood with similar powers and abilities of Healing.

New Hemospectrum Wheel + some lore

Made a new Hemospectrum wheel with the new astrology zodiacs: Cetus and Ophiuchus along with adding all the Caste's mutant colors.

For the new colors I thought they should have more muted / grayish colors for they are outliers of the hemospectrum. Cetus' caste is referred to as Bole-bloods (Like the trunk of a tree) and Ophiuchus' caste is referred as Night-bloods.

Bole-bloods and Night-bloods would be considered extinct due to their unique abilities like Lime-bloods. Bole-bloods are low casted sea dwellers like Violet-bloods and Fuchsia-bloods and are quite strong in comparison to other low bloods. Night-bloods are very powerful healers known to bring others back from the brink of death, these powers make it so only they are only around Fuchsia-bloods and high ranking Violet-bloods to cater to them and those who refuse or cater to lower castes tend to get killed.

New HomeStuck True Aspect Assignment

I changed the Caste's true aspect based upon the Zodiac's associated Mythology with explanation and in order of the Aspect Wheel.

Breath: Breath is the aspect of freedom, motivation and the wind. So for this one Violet / Aquarius was chosen because in Greek Mythology Ganymede was kidnapped by Zeus, thus wanting freedom.

Life: Life is the aspect of life itself, healing and regeneration. This one I chose Burgundy / Aries. Aries is based on the Golden Ram, Chrysomallos whose fleece was used to heal people and bring back the dead.

Light: Light is the aspect of light itself, knowledge and fortune. For this one I chose Indigo / Sagittarius. Sagittarius is usually associated with the centaur, Chiron, who was known for being a teacher/tutor.

Time: Time is the aspect of time itself, the mechanical and fighting what fate has given you along with struggles. This one was hard to choose because none of the Zodiac quite truly fitted this, so I chose Olive / Leo. The Nemean Lion because it fought against Hercules who wanted to kill him and for Hercules it was nearly impossible for him to defeat the lion.

Heart: Heart is the aspect of emotions, the soul and love itself. For heart I picked Gold / Gemini. Gemini is based on the Twins: Castor and Pollux. Castor ended up dying and Pollux wished to be immortal with his brother because he cared about him and loved him.

Rage: Rage is the aspect of negative emotions, chaos and destruction. For rage I have chosen Bronze / Taurus because in the story of Gilgamesh, the Bull of Heaven was sent down to kill Gilgamesh because Ishtar was furious that he rejected her advances.

Blood: Blood is the aspect of blood itself, the bonds one makes with others and unity. For this aspect I chose Jade / Virgo because Demeter, Persephone, and Mother Mary are associated with Virgo and all of those beings and their stories revolve around familial bonds.

Doom: Doom is the aspect of death itself, decay and fate. For this aspect I chose Cerulean / Scorpio. Scorpius was sent to kill Orion by Artemis after he threatening to kill every single creature on the face of the planet.

Void: Void is the aspect of the nothingness, mysteries / secrets and darkness. For this one I chose Lime / Cancer because the constellation was deemed to be a "dark" sign cause you could barely see it. With it described as "black and without eyes".

Space: Space is the aspect of space itself, the biological, creation and transportation. For this one I chose Fuchsia / Pisces because Pisces in Greek Mythology were the ones to save the Goddess, Aphrodite by taking her to a safer place. Also, Aphrodite is the goddess of sex and love and that stuff leads to biological creation.

Mind: Mind is the aspect of the mind itself, logic and karma. For this aspect I chose Purple / Capricorn because the fish-goat is associated with the god Enki, a sumerian god of creation, intelligence, crafts, magic, mischief.

Hope: Hope is the aspect of positive emotions, order and faith itself. For the last and final one I chose Teal / Libra because Justice/Law/Morals is all about one's own beliefs and faith.
