I actually loved how they mellowed down Will's character in Episode 13. The Baker arc has finally reached its closure and I hope things will turn out favorably for Dr. Halstead next episode. I think both he and the husband found closure in that scene at the cemetery.

True! I’m probably in the minority who likes it. Besides, Burgess did not develop feelings for him overnight. Little hints have been dropped in episodes this season.

Unpopular opinion but I totally ship Burgess and Roman.

I don’t care if people dislike it, I think they’d be cute together… I actually hope we get to see more of them!

On another note;…. Moment of appreciation for that Linstead scene at the end… Damnnnn that was🔥🔥

#bellarke has now been pushed into a corner as TPTB is all about destroying bellamy’s character to prop #clexa. seems like it was a good idea to just read recaps then and not tape/watch episodes this season.

I’ve learned to ignore the reviews from that site ever since I noticed how the writer hates Will with a passion yet continually fawns over Connor like a poor little rich boy with family issues that needs to be doted upon. :)

Yes, Will Halstead is not perfect and can be taken the wrong way by some. But I love him anyway.

The blogger who reviews Med at TV Fanatic has it out for Will. She’s been critical of him ever since the first episode and Connor is the poor little rich boy with family issues that needs understanding.

So why won’t they let Matthew Goode promote the show considering they propped Henry Talbot at Mary and Tom’s expense?

If only the US viewers (those who never followed the ITV broadcast and waited for the PBS one) knew what lies ahead. Perhaps the backlash will be far worse. Haha!

In defense of Will Halstead.

Apparently, what Will did in this week's episode (getting that DNA test without the patient's consent) didn't sit well with some viewers. He's being called a tool among others. I like that he's flawed. Yes he needs to get off his high horse every once in a while but for all we know that attitude is rooted from where he grew up.

Connor's lucky because he got a backstory early on so we're pretty sympathetic with his daddy issues and how he just wants to start over at Chicago Med.

I'd wait for a Halstead backstory first before boxing him in a corner. Who knows? We just might be surprised.

And yes, pretty miffed that we didn't get any scenes between Jay and Will in that episode. Haha!

and here we go again with henry being shoved down viewers’ throats. if i were george i’d much prefer thomas’ company rather than my “poor-me-i-married-into-rich-family” stepfather.

they’re trying so hard to mirror henry’s discomfort with tom’s after he married sybil when it’s a no-brainer since their story was better fleshed out compared to hernia toolbox. #annoyed

I’m sure you all have already watched but I’m so frustrated.

i wonder if papa halstead (if they cast him soon) turns out better than papa rhodes? if not, then will and connor can commiserate on having that in common. 

but really, i can’t wait till we know more about the halstead family next time.

@cats-metaphors - the U turn was marrying her off to talbot in what has got to be the most contrived wedding in downton abbey history. heck, even M/M had at least two seasons before they married!
