I had a video released of Susie in MMD back when she was still being touched up. So now here’s a video of the finished Susie model.
I had to adjust bone and camera multiplication because she’s so small...

Today was a pretty fast modeling Triple Star from Squeak Squad. Used booleans for the star shaped indent.
I miss this game.

In 2011, I modeled the Star Rod from Kirby’s Adventure. I didn’t know much about catmull clark or mirroring when I made them back then. In fact, I was pretty much a baby at 3D modeling back then. Now I decided to remake the Star Rod as a .pmx file instead of an .x file. The new version is much closer to the original Star Rod seen in Kirby’s Adventure and its remake, Nightmare in Dream Land. The change to .pmx instead of .x also allowed me to be able to try out UV morph.

Initially I had almost eight different files for the previous version of the star rod, one for each color of the rainbow. With UV morph, I could cram all the colors of the rainbow into a single texture and then adjust the slider to get a specific color, saving a whole lot of space. 
I noticed that the previous version, 2.0, looked a lot closer to how the Star Rod usually appears in the Smash series so. I might tweak the mesh in Meta and rinse/repeat, but unlike the Adventure version, it probably won’t have a rainbow slider option. Then again...
(Things I learned doing this: Do not use UV Morph > Create UV Morph on the PMX Editor 3DView window for something like a flat rainbow texture to change colors, especially if the base material has that exact same texture you’re trying to load. It will not work because other than splitting it into four frames, it will probably override any UV mapping you did in Meta beforehand, which I did. You are better off manually adjusting the UV morph via Object Manipulation through the “Edit vertex/UV morph” option in the morph tab.)

i used sab64′s susie rip as a guide to see how my susie should be rigged
i now understand why susie’s arm bones work best as movement bones
there is
a lot more mobility since she has free floating hands
i’m saving the expression morphs for after i rig
