Honestly life is too short to stress others and not focus on your own happiness and the happiness of your family.

One thing I have learned about people is they do what they want for themselves first. I also learned that being upset with someone else for putting themselves first can be considered selfish. I know, I know … it’s sounds like it makes no sense and if you want to go back and read it again, we not judging. BUT yes indeed honey or honette , stop stressing over what you cannot control, stop giving people power they don’t own. Stop expecting people to always show up or show out for what you want or believe in or what you want to do. Be happy with your household and do the things with them that you believe in or want to do. Just stop, don’t give up on anyone because something doesn’t go your way, but also don’t let a mf walk all over you giving them chance after chance… it’s a crazy balance but you got this.

God works in mysterious ways doesn’t he?

It’s like one day everything could be going great and in one single moment all of that can change! Sometimes when god puts us up on such a tall moment of blessing we forget what the bottom feels like! We also forget that god is not the only one working. Sometimes the enemy waits till you at your highest to knock you right back down. We forget in the moment that is when we need to lean on god the most. When I first thought about posting, I was ready to type in anger. wanted to talk about how upset I was and all I could think about was how I wanted to let it all out right here. But just a short prayer moved my heart in a different direction. To all the women and all the girls out there who get hit by a mega bus of confusion after just being placed on her throne.

This reminds me of how much the pastor in church touched me with his message yesterday. He started out by saying… “Some of you are not happy in your marriage because you are so stuck on your spouse being your ex” … He went on to say “You will never being happy with such and such comparing and hoping they turn into such and such”. Boy did he not speak a word? Sometimes we are so obsessed with the past, and not even always because it was better. Could be because we were comfortable, we did it, or was in it for a long period of our life. We have to separate ourselves from what was, so we can truly receive the blessings we have coming. How in the hell will our new furniture fit if we never get rid of the old sh*t?
