Please Help Hala Daoud get to Egypt for treatment of her debilitating illness (MS)

Please listen to me, I want to talk about Hala Daoud, a mother of 3 who is stuck in Gaza and who needs our help! her tumblr is @halakamak

Hala was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that targets the central nervous system, and if left to progress can be permanently disabling. There is no cure, but there is treatment that can mitigate the damage it does to the central nervous system. Hala needs this treatment, so she can avoid becoming permanently disabled by the disease, but after the collapse of their healthcare system it is not available in Gaza anymore. The medication is also extremely expensive, $12,000 for just one dose that lasts only 6 months, and she must now pay this all on her own. Please help her get to Egypt to purchase this medication!

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Do you know anything i can donate to for palestine that's not the gofundmes because the idea of having to choose who needs my money more is just. scary to me they all need it 3: maybe there's a thing that splits/distributes money evenly???? idk but help would be appreciated

Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it’s randomized to help as many people as possible.

There’s also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it’s a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he’s asked.
