are you still alive?

((might as well take this opportunity to explain a little :, )

long story made short: i’ve been prioritizing stuff in my own life for the last year or so, working harder than ever on my mental health with therapy, maintaining my job, and taking what little free time I had with catching up on stuff pertaining to adulting. Plus: i’ll be moving again next spring, which is gunna be a massive upheaval for me. on the bright side, my work’s been paying off, and i’ve been doing so much better this year than i’ve ever been! i’m still way too stressed all the time, which makes juggling everything more difficult, but i’ve finally accepted i may need medication for that, so i’ll be seeing a psychiatrist for the first time soon.

but, of course, this has left little room for working on fandom stuff for me. back in january i decided to give myself a break from samjack and jaku (honestly, i’ve been in this fandom since 2013, i needed some fresh air) and have been jumping around and looking through other fandoms to get more ideas and let my brain stretch a bit.

i’m itching to get back to these two, and im hoping that’ll happen sometime soon after i’m settled into my new place. thanks to everyone for checking in and still checking out my stuff <3

Your monster lover slowly getting accustomed to you helping groom them. Brush the burrs and snarls from their fur, preen their feathers or scales, help them molt and clean the grit and muck from under their claws. The appreciative chirps, trills, rumbles, and sounds they make and in turn playing with your hair, bringing you things they think would look pretty in your hair or as a necklace/bracelet.
