Throwback/Recolour of one of last month's mechs. This time with a Feisar/Renault theme to it.

Recoloured throwback. And it's Charlie Brown, but he's a humanoid tank mowing his way across the endless battlefields of some distant planet (and keeping his legs warm).

I can't really imagine a futuristic truck without being heavily influenced by Luigi Colani.
Look him up if you're interested in some wild planes, trains and automobiles. Also an absolutely banging grand piano.
Some side notes:
I feel I should have gone with a better angle, like the one in this sketch (left, below).
And the round 'I Robot' wheels, are arranged in a kind of bizzare way (right).
And, special non-bluesky note; the coupling between the cab and trailer distends for turning/manoeuvring, then pulls closed for motorway driving, drawing the top of the trailer and the cab deflector as close as possible.

an airship (in the unconventional sci-fi sense). I think I should've put two battleship style turrets on the top, rather than the ball turret. Maybe I'll revisit and refine it. Probably I'll get distracted by another thought.

Apologies for the radio silence and not finishing off March of Robots but I was unwell.
Gonna take a two week hiatus from drawing robots and draw a few other things as a palate cleanser (should I use the pun palette cleanser?) but I'll still post some robots in alternate colourschemes just to stay on brand.

Initially started with a yellow-blue colour scheme which I wasn't really feeling. So I slid the hue across and found this gem of... Aqua-maroon? 10/10 will use again.

From mobile armour, down to the other end of the scale, a humanoid sized cyborg ninja.

First "mobile armour" style big mech in a while. I thought it would be funny if it was part of a 0G aerobatics unit, perhaps accidentally destroyed performing a Kolvoord Starburst? :D

Also, I don't normally put this much thought into things but what if, instead of smoke trails, they just had giant 3km long ribbons that they wove into patterns?

Oof. Getting a colourscheme that pulled this one away from being too fantasy-esque was tough; you can't go wrong with just slapping some hazard stripes on something though.

The highlights are maybe pulling the saturation out a little much. If you're wondering, it's unarmed; those big squares either side of the head are spotlights.

A good few years back I did a whole collection of spindly mechs with hands and appendages in all the wrong places. I realised I hadn't done something like this for a while so... here we are.

Absolute sports-jacket of a mech :D
It's a riff on some previous mech designs I've done, but the colour-scheme is something I referenced a few posts back.
