Jam Jars The Book
2K posts
Jam Jars the Book is a web series/book. This is a place for questions about the book, the characters and myself, Yonnette Anderson. I'm just a girl with a dream for more mystery/action books to have more diverse casts, and the motivation to do it herself.

Hello! Yes, the love interest in Jam Jars is bisexual. This isn't explicitly mentioned or explored in the story thiy - but the main characters internalised homophobia and anti-lgbt conditioning is a major part of the story
hey, i was wondering if you or any of your followers might have some book recs for examining/helping internalized biphobia or exploring bisexuality in general? thank you!
I like Leah on the offbeat! Anyone else have thoughts?

The Detective
*Ominous ukulele plays in the background*
The Detective turned up on the scene. It was a ghastly murder. A young woman, 24, lay dead. The Detective poked around, looking for clues. He found a hair. A bright auburn hair. The Detective realised the hair was identical to his wife’s. His wife committed the murder.
*Ukulelele ominous-ness intensifies*
In a fit of panic, The Detective begins to hide the evidence. He loves his job, but his wife can’t go to prison. Then, half way through tampering with the scene, the Detective realises something. The hair must have fallen out of his pocket. His wife was never at the crime scene. His wife didn’t kill anyone.
*Ukiileulelele chills*
The Detective relaxes, his wife isn’t a murderer. He continues inspecting the scene. One of the officers standing guard turns to the Detective.
“Sir? Can I see your badge? I have to make sure everyone here has clearance.” The Detective smiles.
“Sure, let me get my badge, It’s in my pocket.” He explains, reaching for his badge. The officer looks confused.
“But Sir…”
*Uukelelelelelelelele goes insane* *Close up on the officers sweating mouth*
“You don’t have any pockets.”
The Detective realises the officer is right. He doesn’t have any pockets. Which means… His wife’s hair couldn’t have fallen out of them. His wife is a murderer.
The Detective falls to his knees, his fists clenched. He licks his lips. How could this happen? How could his wife betray him like this? How will he protect her from being arrested?
Then he notices his fingers are bare. There is no wedding ring on them.
He doesn’t have a wife.
*Uckelele is being smashed on the ground repeatedly*
“Sir, I’m going to need to see your badge.” The officer repeats. The Detective freezes. His badge had been in his pockets. But he didn’t have any pockets. He realises,
He isn’t even a Detective.

proof that we not only need a film that’s exclusively wlw content but that it would also be wildly successful: all it takes on this fckin site is typing the word “girls” and all the wlw are tripping over themselves to reblog it.

Note
What's the conflict in your new story!!??
The ones we will follow think differently.
One beloves the wilds, the other humanity.
One survives, the other scours.
From heaven and earth they possess great powers.
But if our 'heroes' can't find common ground,
there will soon be none on which life can be found.
A girl who can't grammar, and a girl who says 'fuck'
tune in for a tale of Blood and Luck.
it's also hella gay
