This is ridiculous. Iām writing here Bc I feel like I canāt express my opinion on other social media without some virtue signaling leftist blindly attacking me. I hate that everything under the sun is being bipartisanly politicized. The death of george Floyd is a tragedy, travesty and absolutely should not have happened. However, somehow people want to blame trump for this. I didnāt vote for trump, but the mainstream media and leftās blatant lies and depiction of him is getting so flagrant itās sickening, and almost makes me feel sorry for the guy(but his crass brashness and willingness to call out the media and left makes me think he doesnāt need any help defending himself). Like how can you make this unwarranted killing of a man by a policeman trumpās fault? The death of Eric Garner, who was killed in a very similar manner was not blamed on them President Obama, but somehow NOW the president is responsible for poorly trained police officers? Furthermore, the killing of George Floyd took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is a blue state so the āthis is trumpās faultā narrative should fall apart Bc this wasnāt in a red state where trump would theoretically have more influence. And isnāt it so convenient that immediately after Joe Biden had his āYou aināt blackā gaffe, the left says nothing or tries to say it was a joke, but then are quick to place blame of Floydās death on Trump? Iām not a political analyst by any means, but itās like the left is playing this social engineering game of trying to hide their missteps (Tara reade, cuomoās death trap nursing homes, biden and pelosiās hypocritical responses to the corona virus etc) by leaking stories (sometimes without context or basic research) to both mainstream and social media distract people or give them something to blame trump or the right for. That couple that ātook Trumpās adviceā and drank fish tank cleaner instead of hydroxychloroquine? Turned out the wife was anti trump and had issues with the husband for years, so most likely killed him. When the left tried to say trump told people to ingest Lysol and bleach? Never actually said it in his press conference. Feigning concern about hydroxychloroquine and how the president was taking it, but then ignoring that Democratic House representative Karen Whitsett took the drug when she contracted the virus and thanked trump. I was never really into politics, but itās just bullshit how people are so close minded or set in their ways that they donāt try to look at both sides, and just go along with pointing fingers at the opposition or blaming them for unrelated incidents.

One of my best friends from college decided to delete/block me from social media after an ongoing debate over the last few weeks. It sucks Bc I thought differences in opinions shouldnāt end a friendship as long as both parties were respectful, and we had been friends for nearly 15 years and never really had any issues. Thing is he started the debate by challenging my opinion and asking why I thought the way I did. Throughout the debate I use my logic, concede some points, and drop links and vids to support my view and cite numerous examples. He on the other hand called me dense, full of shit, and blind, did not provide any evidence I couldnāt disprove or address, and even blatantly said he wasnāt gonna look at the links I posted to counter his points and basically just stuck to repetition and insults to get his point across. He even threw in a low blow about something that I had just told him that was bugging me. During this entire debate, the only insults I used on him were just mirroring his assertions that I was dense, but not once did I try to throw something personal in face, when I definitely couldāve. In debates or discussions, I believe people should just attack the topic, not the person, and if you have to attack the person, you lost the argument. This wasnāt just in one night however. Heās a competitive person, so heād stay silent for a while but then try to come back with a link or something to reignite the debate, but everytime he did, I counter and stonewall him with facts and evidence. My guess is he got tired of losing, but instead of just changing the topic he just rage quit our friendship. Again it sucks, but he definitely showed me the kind of person he is. Itās one thing to hurl insults at a stranger online, itās another to do it to a friend. Who wants to be friends with someone that stubborn and intolerant anyways

Stupid Horny Idiots
Rant: In my time in the Navy, I've come to a realization: Girls can be/are stupid, horny idiots. These descriptions are typically what I associated with guys, who often make decisions with their dick, but I've been noticing a lot of my female coworkers and friends in the navy, making a lot of dumb decisions. Many have: -either gotten engaged or married within the span of a few months of being with someone -cheated on their long time significant others with well known creeps/idiots/possible STD carriers -ignored warnings of the guy they're seeing has STDs, slept around a ton, is a terrible drunk, or any number of negative qualities -stayed in relationships, despite knowingly being cheated on or abused -hook up with fuck boys (many times despite denouncing them) This isn't coming from a place of rejection, as I have not dated a navy girl. It's just from a place of frustration as a friend, and in some cases a type of "older brother" figure, who has been on the listening end of many vent sessions. I had always had it in my mind that guys are the ones to think with their genitals, while girls were more likely to use their heart and mind. Boy was I wrong haha. It does seem like there has been a shift in that aspect, as it has become more acceptable in society to embrace female sexuality. It only makes sense that as it has become more acceptable for females to openly seek to fulfill their sexual needs, that there would also be those who would make dumb decisions in the pursuit of it. Hell in one instance, one of my female friends actually blows her money in strip clubs, even though she's a lower rank and doesn't get paid that much; this is a stereotype usually associated with young straight male Sailors. End of rant haha

Why I've been feeling down..
I think it's bc I miss the feeling of having a special someone to talk to everyday, like having that purpose of waking up to see how they are and share our stories of our respective adventures. Even with me knowing I wouldn't be able to see them whenever I wanted, there was still the hope for the future. But now I'm back to reality, and back to being single..
